Pay carers to care for their sick, disabled and elderly relatives.
This is a call to everyone globally, we are an embarrassment to the world where we treat carers as we do. CARERS SHOULD NOT BE MADE TO FEEL THEY ARE BENEFIT SCROUNGERS, AT SOME POINT YOUR FAMILY WILL BE FACED WITH HAVING TO CARE OR FIND CARE FOR YOUR SICK, DISABLED OR ELDERLY RELATIVES. This impacts upon families as many must give up work to care for their families. This put's financial and emotional strain upon everyone involved. It creates many additional problems and stress which affects the numbers of people who are caring, to require additional support and healthcare too, putting further unecassary strain on the NHS. This becomes a vicious circle. Something must change. Caring can also affect families with chidren, whereby social services can, and often do end up splitting and dividing these families.. Eventually many children and/or vulnerable people end up being placed into care, through no fault of anyone but a failing government who is clearly failing to recognise these families needs. In failing to recognise them, rather than cutting their benefits, along with the other benefit claimants, it would be far better to allow carers to be recognised as employed people doing a very worthwhile job. Things must change. Rather than a huge loss of income, these families need to be paid a wage to care for their sick relatives. This will decrese the money paid out in benefits and will decrese the thousands of elderly and disabled now in care homes funded by the state. It will decrease the amount of stress on carers and will create a better enviroment for those being cared for in their own homes and their families homes who, are under the new laws still expected to pay council tax and housing benefets out of the small amount of money the government forces them to have to live on where it fails to see the worthwhile jobs they are doing, which saves the government thousands of pounds..
