Do not allow the KKK to Adopt a mile of Route 15 in Georgia
Ku Klux Klan, often abbreviated KKK and informally known as the Klan, is the name of three distinct past and present far-right organizations in the United States, which have advocated extremist reactionary currents such as white supremacy, white nationalism, and anti-immigration, historically expressed through terrorism. Since the mid-20th century, the KKK has also been anti-communist. The current manifestation is splintered into several chapters with no connections between each other; it is classified as a hate group. It is estimated to have between 3,000 and 5,000 members as of 2012. Georgia has been participating in the Adopt-A-Highway program for more than 20 years. The program provides advertising for sponsors who agree to clean a stretch of road on a sign posted along the stretch. "Any civic-minded organization, business, individual, family, city, county, state, or federal agency is welcome to volunteer in the Georgia Adopt-A-Highway program," the DOT website says. The Southern Poverty Law Center, which monitors hate groups, lists the KKK as "the most infamous -- and oldest -- of American hate groups." "Over the years since it was formed in December 1865, the Klan has typically seen itself as a Christian organization, although in modern times Klan groups are motivated by a variety of theological and political ideologies," the law center's website says. Having the KKK being able to adopt a highway is providing them with a good image when in fact everything they stand for is the exact opposite. What will we have next the Adolf Hitler superhighway. Georgia already implemented HB-87 an anti-immigration law that gave the state a bad rep do we want to worsen that rep by having the KKK adopt a highway? No I do not think so. If they want to adopt a highway they can do it under a different organization but not the KKK. Please do not allow them to adopt the highway.

Label the Term "Anchor baby" as derogatory or Remove it from the dictionary
In the American Heritage Dictionary the term Anchor baby is as defined - A child born to a noncitizen mother in a country that grants automatic citizenship to children born on its soil, especially such a child born to parents seeking to secure eventual citizenship for themselves and often other members of their family. The term is a derogatory statement and should be labeled as such. The definition of the word makes it sound like the purpose of undocumented people coming to a country is to intentionally have babies only to secure them a spot for later citizenship. This definition is simply not true and it is no one's sole purpose to do to use their children in such a way. it's dehumanizing, an attack on an innocent child and says more about the user of such a term than the one being labeled. So we need to label this term a derogatory or remove it from the dictionary!
