Edward Engel-Instructor at Art Institute of Saint Louis... More Classes!
Edward Engel, A strong innovative spirit who equally dedicates a good amount time into his students. During labs he is always noted taking time and personally talking to students about their projects. His powerful innovation helps bring creativity and passion to a classroom, and ultimately prepares them for the future. Every class period he has students print out their progress and go over each project helping them shape it into what they truly wanted it to be. The in class reviews allows for student interaction, and teaches that when working in groups on an individual project, can produce magic when it comes to design. The day to day repetitious environment from being a student can cause you to lose the creative spark. Ed’s classes geared around the portfolio rather than the repetitious useless acts, helps push ideas and design aspects, It allows for more quality than quantity. By using this method you learn at a shaper rate, and feel better after the project is done. There is never a time someone can’t go talk to Ed about anything school related or personal, he is a great mentor, counselor, and is very insightful. Edward Engel deserves more classes, (If not full time) and as always to continue being part of this community at Art Institute of Saint Louis. He has proven countless times of the passion he instills upon his students, and how motivational he truly can be. We need more teachers like Edward, ones that put teaching as their first priority, and motivate students to dream big, but design bigger. I am putting this petition up today to ask for more hours for this inspiring teacher, and to show the amount of respect I have for him. Be sure to sign and put in a comment expressing your personal experience with Ed. Thank you!
