End CU Student Homelessness With Endowment Scholarships.
A 19 year old financially independent student at the University of Colorado Boulder, name being withheld to protect her identity, had to drop all of her on-campus classes in Fall 2011 after transferring last semester or else she would have had to find a way to come up with $17,000.00 in cash to continue her education there. She was told by dozens of private institutions that she was ineligible for private student loans or credit cards because of her insufficient credit history. She applied to every single job she was qualified for that she could find but was still never hired. The school informed her they ran out of financial aid upon her arrival. With no other options she was homeless and doing her online classes at the library. She had to withdraw from her online math class because she couldn't afford to access her homework. She failed one of her online courses because she couldn't afford the textbook. A high ranking administrator advised her to drop out because she applied and was accepted into the school after the scholarship application deadline. She is not only the first person in her family to graduate high school but also the first to attend college. The school has a $650 million dollar endowment they should refuse to let any of their students be homeless. Because she cannot receive any financial aid from last year she is guaranteed to continue to be homeless for another year while taking CU classes and might not have the ability to register for classes next fall (being unable to pay off Fall 2011 balance she couldn't take any unless she receives appropriate funding from the school this year to pay off her past due balance from last year.) She might not receive any financial aid next year because with limited financial history she can't take out private loans or credit cards to pay off the rest of her past due balance of $2,500.00 from last semester which prevented her from being able to take classes this semester and next. Please use some of your $650 million dollar endowment to give scholarships to financially independent college students as well as other students whose aid has not yet been met.
Free North Koreans From Concentration Camps and End The Genocide
Millions have died of starvation and execution since the beginnings of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) aka North Korea. Routinely citizens are tortured and then sent to one of the country's many concentration camps, where torture generally continues. We must end the injustice, the suffering and the insanity. This is a call to the world leaders to end this horrific crime on humanity. In the name of humanity we condemn Kim Jong-Un and the high-ranking officials of the KWP. We ask that you bring these villains to international court for their clear violation of UN international human rights law. Free the prisoners rotting away in the concentration camps. Economic sanctions have proven ineffective- well besides increasing the victims of starvation. Kim Jong Un is clearly mentally incapacitated and we, the global community, urge you to take a stand. End this injustice once and for all. We said "never again" to genocide. Let us fulfill our promise to humanity and end the suffering of our fellow human beings by freeing them. Over 114 countries support a unified democratic Korean peninsula (according to Wikileaks even China). If we stand united in our efforts to eradicate genocide we shall surely free the people, our fellow people, the North Koreans.

We know that there are other intelligent beings in the universe and beyond, besides us. There is proof that they have been visiting Earth forthousands of years. Tell the government to finally admit that aliens / extraterrestrials exist!
