This game means so much to me and many others, especially giving a voice to victims of SA and giving a story where we can feel less alone especially in the gaming community
Alice: Asylum would save EA's career, a lot of people were waiting for this game, even me. American McGee (the creator of the games of the twisted version of ''Alice'' saga) was very disappointed with the news, he was selling plushies, posters, whatever it took to make this game happen, he even hired art artists. I was super excited. No one wanted to know about FIFA, or anything like that. They were just trusting EA and American McGee. But it seems that EA doesn't want to give the rights back to him. Alice: Asylum would be a great game to finish the trilogy. In fact, everything was well done, and perfect, the new mechanics, everything. We want you ''Electronic Arts'' (EA) to sell the rights back to the owner, if you're not going to do anything with all these rights, then I don't know why you have them. I don't understand this, WE ALL WANT ALICE: ASYLUM!
The Alice series has been one of my two favorite games I have ever played. It is a crime that McGee could not finish the story. The series is something special with fans still active. EA, please save Alice, this is a terrible fate for such an Amazing IP to suffer.
EA, you refused to greenlight Asylum because you thought the game would not have an audience, yet you refuse to sell the IP because you claim it is still profitable? Well which is it, if it is profitable make another game instead of letting it die.
The Alice games hold such a special place in my heart not only as a player, but as a artist. The beauty these games have cannot be described in just a few words. I was devastated to find out that Alice Asylum was denied and will do anything to get it back!
american mcgees alice means the WORLD to me and has gotten me through a lot, i'm heartbroken the creator doesn't have the rights to go through with his creative visions. i long for the day we get more alice 💔
You might not think Alice’s franchise speaks to your audience but that doesn’t mean there isn’t an audience it does speak to. Not wanting to support it is one thing but keeping it from people who truly love the game is just heartbreaking to both the players and the creators. The game has a deep plot that resonates with many including myself, and we just want to see the story be complete. I hope you read this and decide not to let the game collect dust under a company that has no intentions on supporting it.
This game literally means the world to me. Me along with so many thousands of fans would love to relive our childhoods of what this game made for us. It's literally an amazing game and it will sell for sure. Please EA stop holding hostage your IPs because you want money and listen to the players. Please give the players what they want.
I fell in love with American Mcgee’s adaptation to Alice to the point where my boyfriend (now husband) bought me a custom tailored Alice Madness costume on one year for Halloween. Although I do not fit in it anymore, I cherish it and keep it safe like my life depends on it. It may be a small or niche fandom, but EA will hear our voices and know that we won’t let this go!
