Petition delivered to Hamilton Community Preservation Committee
This evening there was a meeting of the Hamilton Community Preservation Committee. Before the meeting commenced, the Patton Pool petition (with 127 signatures) was hand delivered to the committee.
Unfortunately, the agenda did not include discussing the Patton Pool project in detail.
At this point in time our petition to repair or replace Patton Pool has been delivered to both the Board of Selectmen of Hamilton as well as the Hamilton Community Preservation Committee.
Mark Andrews, Wenham town administrator, has also seen the petition.
The petition will be delivered to the Wenham Community Preservation Committee later this week.
Thank you everyone for showing your support for a town pool! The goal was to collect 100 signatures and we now have well over that with 129 in just 2 days. There 's no doubt that a town pool is important to the residents of Hamilton and Wenham.
Next step is to follow the progress of the formation of a Patton Pool committee.
