Petition to Netflix, Amazon or any other network capable of picking up the show for a further two seasons
We want Dark Matter Season 4
Dark Matter was one of the most popular and highest rated shows on Syfy. Not only did it receive impressive viewing figures throughout S3, the show has been well-received globally and fans have been vocal on social media regarding their desire tor further seasons. Despite this Syfy made the decision to cancel Dark Matter on 1st September 2017. No reason was given for this and Syfy didn't even release a statement to explain the cancellation to fans. Syfy is a channel which prides itself on diversity and listening to fans. If that's the case, why has a popular and diverse show been cancelled for no apparent reason? As of S3 the main cast has an equal number of male and female characters, half of whom are people of colour. Furthermore, the lead of the show is a bisexual Asian woman. Very few shows have this level of diversity and many fans have found important representation they may struggle to find elsewhere. Simply put, the decision to cancel Dark Matter was a poor one on Syfy's part. We, the fans of Dark Matter, wish to show our support for the show and encourage another network to consider picking it up for a further season.
Petition to The world of TV
SAVE HOME FIRES!!
The decision by ITV to cancel home fires is such a huge mistake! It was such a brilliantly acted and well written drama and has so much more potential. Series 2 was left on a cliff hanger! ITV must realise how brilliant a programme it was and that it's a terrible choice not to recommission it! Sadly, ITV seem to show no loyalty to a programme, nor do they value the opinions of their loyal viewers. So with this petition we intend to prove how loved and popular this programme is and show another channel the benefits of commissioning it! They would get 6 million+ viewers and free publicity backed by a huge, public campaign in addition to high quality writing and acting!
Petition to Netflix
Bring Back The Get Down
The Get Down is a show about the hip hop evolution of the 70s. It has lots of poc and lgbt representation which is why it deserves a second season. Last night it was announced that the show had been cancelled so this petition was made in hopes that enough people sign it and netflix consider bringing it back. - Emily (@poprunk on twitter)
Petition to Netflix, Amazon, Nickelodeon, Hulu
Pick up the Avatar franchise and release as a new original series
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/8/86/Avatar_Aang.png Amazon currently has a great relationship with Nickelodeon and has all the Avatar episodes on Prime, therefore this could be a great opportunity for Amazon to pick up the rights to the show and create a new series. In addition to that Netflix may not have the rights to stream the show on its service but we have seen how good Netflix is at reviving shows which were cancelled and turning them into hits for example the Voltron franchise. The Legend of Korra saw huge success as an online-exclusive show after it was pulled from Nickelodeon's regular TV broadcasting, and with Netflix or Amazon's branding the franchise could be taken to new heights. Although Bryan Konietzko and Michael DiMartino have said they have finished with the franchise, we could find some other producers who have the same care and attention to detail as the current producers and it's practically guaranteed that the show would be successful on Netflix or Amazon as almost everyone has it. Currently the franchise is turning into a graphic novel which i am happy about but I feel that it wont be able to tell the story in the same way as the series did. Furthermore both of the Avatar shows have won multiple awards such as a prime time Emmy which would look great on whichever company buys the franchise.
Petition to Netflix
Add the TV Show Friends to Netflix UK
In this modern era, it is difficult to access and watch Friends. I yearn to see David Schwimmer and Jennifer Anniston's children grow, to see Matthew Perry and Courtney Cox's relationship blossom, to see Lisa Cudrow play Smelly Cat and last but not least, to see Matt LeBlancs endeavours with females. However, I do not have the space to own every single season of Friends on DVD. Our American counterparts are blissfully able to enjoy Netflix from the comfort of their own sofa yet the UK, like always lags behind. Well, I for one won't be having it. Netflix prides itself on being the number 1 streaming service yet doesn't even allow the streaming of one of the highest rated TV shows of all time to one of the biggest economies of the world. To me, this is near enough barbaric. A stand needs to be made and Netflix needs to understand that this is an incredibly important issue that needs to be addressed. I don't think I can take any more Friends-free days. I need your support to make a statement. We need to be heard.
Petition to Really Channel (UKTV)
Give Most Haunted a *proper* LIVE Halloween Special in 2017
** PLEASE SHARE THIS PETITION BY SHARING THIS ON ALL MOST HAUNTED GROUPS OR TWITTER FEEDS ** DOWNLOAD AND SHARE THIS IMAGE (via Dropbox) FOR A VISUAL AID! Thank you to: Yvette Fielding Glen Hunt The Official Most Haunted Experience Official Most Haunted Who tweeted out a link. Also thanks to: Karl Beattie Fred Batt Who approved the link on the Official Most Haunted Facebook Groups! ---- UPDATE 13/09/2017: UKTV have announced that Celebrity Haunted Hotel will NOT be returning this Halloween, which paves the way for a Most Haunted Live episode... Although nothing has been confirmed yet! Give Most Haunted a *proper* LIVE Halloween Special in 2017 For many years, viewers were left with no Most Haunted in their lives, as no channel would pick up the show, and create new ones. When it finally returned to screens thanks to the people over at Really (operated by UKTV), viewers were over the moon, as the much loved show was brought back to life from the dead (if you'll pardon the pun). Last year (2015) saw an amazing LIVE special, hosted by the amazing Rylan Clark-Neal, featuring a guest appearance during the investigation, by none other than Paul O' Grady! It saw 530,000 people tune in as it broadcast live on the night, to witness the amazing special, with many more viewers watching on demand afterwards! This year (2016) however, the network only decided to give an "AS LIVE" special, meaning it was pre-recorded, without any editing cuts. No celebrities, and no special live elements. It seems that this year, all the money was put into the networks new halloween special series Celebrity Haunted Hotel - which to be honest, was no comparison to the TV royalty which we are used to in the Paranormal Genre! It's important to note that even Karl Beattie has stated that they "all wanted a live special", and it's out of the teams control - so please don't take it out on the crew, it's the network that makes the decisions! We urge UKTV to bring back a PROPER live special in 2017! Please sign this petiion and an email will be sent to the "UKTV Viewers Opinions" email address to voice your opinion! Petition to Channel 4, Love Productions
Channel 4/Love Productions to Make Vegan Spin-Off of Great British Bake Off
Veganism has seen a massive boom in the last few years and following Channel 4's recent successful transfer of the hit bakery show The Great British Bake Off, there's never been a better time to launch a fantastic spin-off show highlighting the fantastic skills of amateur vegan bakers across the country. As it stands, vegan bakers are excluded from the show by their own ethics - otherwise being forced to use animal produce in the fixed technical challenges. The format would naturally be 'smaller' than the main show, with fewer initial contestants and span a shorter period of time, being shown in the 'off season' of the regular show, perhaps on one of Channel 4's peripheral channels. A change of presenters and judges could allow for a mix of vegan/non-vegan talent, giving rise to excellent conversations regarding vegan ingredients and baking methods. (I for one would happily take Noel's spot ;-) )
Petition to BBC
Save BBC Crimewatch
Crimewatch is a national institution. The programme has helped solve large numbers of serious crimes since its launch in 1984, including hundreds of murder, rape, and paedophilia cases (https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/in-25-years-crimewatch-snares-57-398587.amp). However, there are now plans for the programme to be discontinued. It is understandable that broadcasters like the BBC face great pressure to maintain audiences but some programmes are more important than achieving the highest possible ratings. This programme is the pinnacle of what public service broadcasting should be about, and must be allowed to continue in a prime-time slot. The benefit to police forces is substantial. The benefits at a human level are incalculable. Please allow its invaluable work to continue.
