Petition to All education Boards in India
Postponing all Board Exams In 2021 in Light of The Pandemic.
Why all board exams in 2021 in India need to be postponed. The Bangladesh education board has already announced that all kind of board level exams have been cancelled. (No HSC, equivalent exams this year, students to advance based on JSC, SSC results. ) It's a matter of lack of common sense when you cant understand that millions of lives will be at stake if the exams don't postpone. The students, the teaching staff and the family of everyone who even came near to the exam centre, they will all have their at risk for the sake of what? An exam? The Exam centre? Now Sounds more like Covid Epicentre. Lack of Sources and Internet: On what basis are the board exams being taken?the answer is low or zero quality education via online lectures. A) The education board needs to understand that the people who teach us in these lectures are Teachers and not professional podcasters. If you really want to not postpone the board exams, then first simply provide us with some professional level lectures from which we can atleast understand what is being said. We simply can't understand the foo foo language they speak in the mic. we still don't blame the teachers for this, they're trying their level best too.B) Metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Delhi, chennai, etc are cities with a good internet connection. But what about places that don't have an internet at all? Will students be forced to give exams without being educated now? Who will be held responsible if most of us fail? Suicides:A) Lakhs of students didn't get good to no amount of education as their parents were in financial crisis because of the unemployment in these situations. They are still forced to sit for the exams by the peer and societal pressure, which again, leads to mental health problems.B) There already have been dozens of deaths because of NEET and JEE not being postponed and there will be hundreds of deaths which will make it enough for us to call it a massacre. Taking board exams in such situations can cause Serious amount of suicidal tendencies in students.Reference link:https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/kolkata/unable-to-attend-online-classes-girl-kills-self/articleshow/76473056.cms

Petition to Government
“Statutory request to reduce the hours of online classes”
Quality education is a right that must be accessible and inclusive for all. The Covid-19 Pandemic has placed students in a dangerous and damaging position which continues to compromise our education. To maintain the flow of education amid the Covid-19 lockdown, the government has instructed all colleges and schools to conduct online classes which has been quiet a good alternative. Virtual learning comes with its own pros and cons. The students (junior colleges) are takin 7 to 9 classes every day with each class being 40 to 60 minutes which rounds of to 8 hours minimum on scree. Adaptability Struggle : Switching from traditional classroom and face to face instructor training to computer-based training in a virtual classroom makes the learning experience entirely different for students. Students with a “traditional” mindset find it difficult to adapt; however, the need to accept the new learning circumstances with an open mind and heart, while discussion with tutors is allotted a limited time. Technical Issues : Many students are not provided with the high bandwidth or the strong internet connection that online courses require, and thus fail to catch-up with their virtual classmates: Their weak monitors make it hard to follow the Course Management System and their learning experience become problematic. Time Management : Time management is a difficult task for eLearners, as online courses require lot of time and intensive work and due to these long hours and prolong usage of gadgets, students are facing many health related issues such as vision problems and migraine. Many of the parents having limited data plan- is also a problem. Listening to 6 hours a day causes the data to runout faster thus leading to more frequent / higher bill payments As we being students, we completely understand the scenario and can’t give up on education. This is our “Statutory request to reduce the hours of online classes” to 5 to 6 hours a day.
Petition to Aidos Qonqayev, Embassy of India in Kazakhstan
PLEASE DON'T INCREASE OUR TUTION FEE - Astana Medical University, Kazakhstan
As the whole world is going through an intense ordeal in the form of COVID-19 Pandemic. We all know what's happening around us and how badly the second wave of covid hit us and our families both mentally and financially, especially those who belong to middle and lower-class families. We therefore the Students of Astana Medical University request that the University authorities consider our request NOT TO INCREASE THE FEE STRUCTURE so that students can concentrate on their academics rather than worrying about the financial burden of fees on our parents. We were supposing to get an official notification regarding the OFFLINE CLASSES which is the main issue this time but unfortunately we received the order notification for FEE INCREAMENT which is not a geniune step to take this time and still we have not yet recieved any official confirmation regarding our offline classes. So, We students of Astana Medical University, request the Boards Members of University to look into the matter and also gave priority to the offline classes. Petition to Rev. Fr Anil Jose, Dr Jojo P. J., Fatima Mata National College, COE FMNC, Arif Mohammed Khan, Kerala University, UGC , Shashi Tharoor
Postpone exam or make it Online FMNC
Respected Sir, We the students of Fatima Mata National College , first semester, urges you to postpone our exams which are meant to be conducted from 6 August 2021. Under the circumstances of rising Covid cases ,most of the students will find it difficult to attend the exams offline as well as it may cause mental stress among the students due to the limited days we had for studying. It is impractical to conduct exams offline when most of us even haven't taken vaccines . Moreover no one would take any responsibility if we get infected , thereby making it impossible for the infected to attend further examinations. In addition to that, the Kerala University has not yet decided to hold any offline examinations for the first semester till October. Also Kerala University games are conducting these days where some of the students are participating in it. Therefore, we humbly request you to take appropriate measures to ensure that the exams are either postponed or be conducted in online mode as long as the risk continues. We hope you will understand our mental situations right now and take necessary actions accordingly.
Petition to Sri. B.S Yediyurappa, Education minister of India, AIDSO , Nsui , PES University, Prof. Jawahar Doreswamy, UGC
PES University, cancel offline exams. #PESUAgainstOfflineExams.
KIND REQUEST TO CIRCULATE THIS WITH YOUR CLASSMATES AND ENSURING PARTICIPATIONWe all come from different walks of life but today we all are facing an unexpected and unjust decision rested on our shoulders. This petition states the factors demanding a change from current practices featuring the keynote of communal safety and well-being and concludes with the demands considering the essence of these times. The university is clear on its stance to commence the examinations by the last week of July paying no heed to the cries of students who belong to distant parts of India like Kashmir and the Seven Sisters while some also live abroad. The management preys upon the fear and anxiety embedded in a student towards his career and is taking advantage of the academically inclined nature of the student body across streams and campuses because of which we lack a structured student body to raise our voices and bend the management to take a decision leaning towards the general referendum. They have also lowered to the extent of denying scholarships to students for their entire academic journeys if he/she fails to appear for this end semester evaluation. At this point of time, there are thousands of us who have given corporate and academic commitments to third party institutions for the summer term propagated from the undertone of expected mindful and reasonable thinking from the management considering logistics, the health of the commoner, and the forecasted uprise of the COVID-19 outbreak but despite all this, we are at this juncture where many of us shuffling internships and an inhuman expectation of self-studying a semester worth of syllabus within a couple of fortnights which is creating a lot of distress for everyone far and wide. This is all happening right here in our campus where many of us are getting shoved into a situation of uncertainty because of the third wave as we look upon the damage the virus has already done to each of our lives while ALL the other premier institutions in the country have made it clear that the conduction of any course is possible online given the efforts and adaptation. Also, the management seems to ignore the fact that even a city dweller risks the time and investment put into securing their families over the past 15 months. The kind of environment a kid living alone here faces in case of infection is beyond comprehension. The management has landed us in this position as they have failed us in considering our mental state of being and career propulsion for this whole period and also created backlogs for students over the past couple of semesters owing to their own inefficiency of conducting labs and theory subjects online which has made fair means of evaluation from their side nearly impossible. The response from their side to this semester’s course evaluation has been to delay it further and further now encompassing two months all while questioning the integrity of the students when placed with the obvious alternative of having online evaluations. Conclusion:It is rather obvious that all of these thoughts have passed our minds at some point in time and still some grim situations haven't contended within the previous paragraphs. So what is this petition about?PESU has a student body of well beyond 10 thousand students and various groups have over time tried to reach the management and failed to find a resolution. Our objective is to find well beyond 5000 signatures on this petition so that our voices cannot be left unheard and we could be representing the opinion of the majority. DEMANDS: Total cancellation of physical offline examinations scheduled this July. For people who haven't written ISA1 Compensation for 25% of ISA should be provided considering the fact that college announced ISAs were optional and >90% didn’t attend all the ISAs. Compensation can be through assignments or through online examinations. A switch to an online platform for the conduction of the exams. SGPA Calculation SGPA calculation of the previous sem should be done considering special ESA/backlogs considering the fact that College said that 3rd sem exams are optional and students can withdraw subjects and write them during 4th sem. Removal of clauses unjustly barring kids from availing scholarships. Consideration to the fact that people are pursuing rigorous internships and other endeavors currently. COMMITMENTS: A pledge from the student to not indulge in any malpractice during online conductions of exams. A boycott of the examinations if the petition represents the opinions of the majority student body.(5k+ signatures) We appreciate your feedback. (Feedback is Anonymous)
Petition to Visa section, Germany visa department, J. Lindner
New appointmnt of cancel visa slots & extension of expired visa from German embassy Delhi
We have following concerns with German Embassy & VFS Global, New Delhi:- 1. German embassy, delhi issued 3 months visa to Students. But few unfortunate Students were not able to book a flight in between april and july due to second wave of corona and meanwhile their 3 months visa duration passed in lockdown. Now as eveything is starting again, embassy should simply extend their visa for next 3 monts, but they are treating it as a expired visa. And vfs delhi simply announced that students need to apply new visa. Here I want to clarify that, getting visa from scrach at German embassy Delhi involves many steps such as visa appointment slot booking at VFS delhi, waiting for visa approval, D stamping appointment booking, waiting for passport to be stamped and deliever to home address, which is approximately 6 months affair because of uncertainty in getting visa slot. Isn't it a harassment? 2. German embassy, delhi cancelled our visa slots of Master and Bachelor students which was in Apr & May 2021. Now everything is open but they are not rescheduling our visa appointments. They simply announced to rebook it again. Now people who are thinking that what is the problem in this. So, I want to further clarify them that:-- Once someone booked an appointment by paying money (800-900 INR), VFS Delhi should reschedule it first instead of asking for rebooking or open the booking for everyone.- Even, if we have to rebook, VFS, delhi should made some arrangement that students whose appointment got cancelled, they get first available dates. Its logical and its our right! After reading our 2 main concerns with german embassy, delhi, you must be thinking, its just an appointment slot. Why dont all the students book it again. But it is not as simple as it looks like because whenever you open the booking website it shows no slots are available. Delhi VFS can open the slot on any day and at any time. They open slots of a perticular month. And when they open it, it has been booked in 5-10 minutes. If you missed it, you have to wait for next month and so on. Why are we so frustrated, because:- 1. its happening at VFS, delhi only. All other VFS i.e. mumbai, kolkata, banguluru, chennai are working fine and handling the slots like a pro. Last year also it was the same scenario in delhi only. VFS delhi cancelled slots and even they are not bothered to refund the appointment booking amount. Why they are so arrogant, who is supporting them? German embassy, delhi? 2. Summer and winter semester 2020, summer 2021 students belongs to delhi jurisdiction are still waiting for their visa. And now winter sem 2021 are also in the que. German embassy, delhi to expand its capacity to give visa inline with yearly admission capacity of the students. 3. If visa expired due to covid lockdown, why all process need to be repeated. German embassy have approved application file, embassy can process that file itself, and simply need to stamp new visa on passport. Its logical. We request to have some humanity. 4. Getting Master and Bachelor student visa slot for VFS delhi location is near to impossible task. Many times students complained that money got deducted but not showing appointment on our deshboard and no confirmation mail received. After that, If we try again to book, it shows you already booked with this passport number. So ultimately money gone, no appointment and not able to try to book an appointment again. 5. Our 1st semester will start from 1st october 2021, we had appointment in Apr, May 2021, now its july but we have not even at the beginning of the visa application process because of this strange decision of German embassy, Delhi to not reschedule the appointments. 6. All students opened and transferred 10332 euro in block account. Many students have tution fees, which they already paid. Many took loan from bank. Most of the students belongs to normal middle class families. Their whole life earned money is on stack. We are learning german language by paying huge amount of money. We paid german examination fees. We have not spent too much for online semester. Students future is on stack. 7. German embassy, delhi and vfs, delhi treats Students as nothing. Its the german universities who choose us very carefully based upon their selection criteria. We fullfilled that criteria. Embassy is not doing any favor on us by giving us a visa, its our right to get visa on time and we deserve to get an answer of our emails sent to VFS or Embassy. We have right to get a new date of appointment ASAP. Its always one way communication between Embassy and Students. Enough is enough! VFS delhi and German embasssy Delhi to change their attitude and working style.
