Petition to Clear Creek Highschool, Greg Smith
Petition for Clear Creek HS to erect a Vegeta statue in honor of Christopher Sabat.
As some of you may be aware of, The voice actor, Christopher Sabat, graduated from Clear Creek High school in 1992. Christopher Sabat went on to voice act many different characters in multiple tv series, and video games. He has also been a voice director in various projects, and he even started his own audio production company OkraTron 5000. He is most well known for his work in Dragon Ball Z. He provides the voice work for such notable characters as Vegeta, Piccolo, Yamcha, Zarbon, Recoome, Jeice, Burter, Salza, as well as many others. Christopher Sabat is an incredibly talented gentleman and he deserves more recognition for it. That is where this petition comes into play. Clear Creek Highschool should Erect a life size Vegeta statue above a plaque that reads, "I wasn’t sure how long I could sustain the effort without breaking in two. It was as though the only thing holding my body together was myone burning desire to be better then Kakarott. Sometimes I thought I was losing my mind. Why wasn’t I able to obtain what Kakarott had obtained?! It didn’t make any sense. It was infuriating… and it was my fury that kept me alive. - In Honor Of Christopher Sabat the original Prince of Saiyans." I believe 100% that making this apperant to current and future students will help motivate and drive them to reach their goals.

Make teacher Rachel D'Avino a Jedi Knight
Heroes deserve to be remembered. Rachel D'Avino was one of the six teachers killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School. So, why do I want to make her a Jedi Knight? I found out that she liked Star Wars and this struck a chord with me. I did not know her,but as a result of this petition I have come to know some of her family and friends. I am merely a Star Wars fan myself wishing to see another Star Wars fan who died heroically immortalized. Would it be awesome if this happens? Yes. Can it happen? Perhaps. One story that has stuck with me is how she stayed with one of the children that was killed. This may sound very nerdy, but that is very much in the spirit of the Jedi Order. Her family and friends came across this petition and I now have their full backing and support. This is no longer just a "fan boy" idea but a campaign that is very much being supported by those who knew her. It is just my opinion, but those who do heroic things such as Rachel D'Avino do deserve to be remembered, even it is through something such as Star Wars. There is no emotion, there is peace. There is no ignorance, there is knowledge. There is no passion, there is serenity. There is no chaos, there is harmony There is no death, there is the Force. The Jedi Code The photo was supplied to me by John Jasiulevicius, Rachel's cousin Two articles about Rachel D'Avino and her actions at Sandy Hook Elementary School " rel="nofollow">http://www.thehour.com/rachel-davino/image_981ddf62-4863-11e2-9f70-001a4bcf6878.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2273422/Sandy-Hook-Parents-autistic-Josephine-Gay-set-charity-fund-help-inspired-therapist-Rachel-DAvino.html

Rename the Redford Union HS gym the "RodneyT. Abbas Memorial Gymnasium"
Think back to when you were in High School...who was the one constant no matter what you were doing, seeing, playing? Who did everyone know by first name? That was Rodney Abbas. For over 40 years, every class knew and loved him. He hardly ever missed an event that he could help, and he was always there with a smile and his ever-present "Thumbs Up". Sadly, Rodney passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the young age of 71. With his passing, another light has gone out. There is hardly a person in Redford who doesn't remember and love Rodney, RU's #1 fan. The best way to honor his dedication to RU sports, events and to Redford Township itself, is to rename the Redford Union High School gym the "Rodney T. Abbas Memorial Gymnasium". We ask of the school board this very simple thing which is to honor Rodney with true "Panther Spirit" because he was the biggest Panther fan Redford Union, and Redford Township, has ever had!!
