Petition to Minister Sajid Javid
Malia Bouattia is not welcome at Holocaust Memorial Day events
Malia Bouattia is the President of the UK National Union of Students She has called Birmingham University a "Zionist outpost"She has said “With mainstream Zionist-led media outlets… resistance is presented as an act of terrorism”. She has criticised peace talks for strengthening “the colonial project”. She said “Israel as it behaves is problematic to me.” "Never Again" - Israel is the Jewish People's greatest protection from antisemitism. If Israel had been created ten years earlier, millions of lives might have been saved. More Holocaust Survivors live in Israel than anywhere else. Bouattia's presence at the UK's national HMD event on 26 January 2017 was a kick in the teeth for them, for all Survivors, for their families and for Kol Am Yehudi, the entire Jewish people. And an insult to the memory of those who perished. She should have stayed away and sent an alternate. Or been disinvited. The Minister, Sajid Javid, was at the event. He said on 18 January "We have to call out bigotry and racism whenever we see it and wherever we see it. What’s certain is that if we don’t speak out against hatred and antisemitism it will become normalised." https://www.gov.uk/government/speeches/lessons-from-the-long-night-why-we-must-all-stand-up-to-bigotryWell Minister - we ARE speaking out. Here. We ask you to ensure that Bouattia is not invited to the 2018 national HMD event!

Petition to Kirklees Council
Kirklees Council stop disrespecting our parted loved ones by walking over their graves
Kirklees Council, I am against the plans of your method of maintaining the graves at Hey Lane Cemetery. By walking or travelling over the grave to maintain the grass would be disrespecting the deceased. This is also against the tenets of religious faiths. I have discussed this with Muslim and Christian faith leaders whom all agree that the council should look at an alternative way to maintain the grass. We do hope the council understand the sensitivity of this issue, and as families are learning about this we are receiving very concerning feedback. We the undersigned implore the Council to think of an alternative method of maintaining the graves that takes into account the sensitivities of the families who have or will have loved ones resting at those grounds.

A plaque to remember Cozy Powell.
There are some rare artists that are able to arouse emotions in their public, I mean real, intense emotions. Cozy Powell was one of these musicians. For those of you who don't know, we are talking about the drummer of bands like Rainbow, Whitesnake, Emerson Lake & Powell, Black Sabbath. His unique versatility allowed him to collaborate with almost everyone, from Ritchie Blackmore to Tony Iommi, from Jeff Beck to Michael Schenker as well as Gary Moore, Peter Green, Glenn Tipton, Yngwie Malmsteen and Brian May. He also recorded five solo albums! Cozy was well known for his playing that was solid and energetic, in addition he developed a completely personal style. His sound was particularly powerful, rich and deep but never lacking of dynamics. Even when he used the double bass tecnique he always did it with good taste, never just to show off or overkill the music but only if it was really necessary to boost the mood of the song. His talent was immediately evident to anyone who heard him play. But it was when you saw him performing that Cozy really blew you away! and it was not only for his legendary drum solos with symphonic tracks and fireworks. It was the gesture, somehow elegant despite the considerable amount of physical strength that was required for that kind of playing. Above all, every time you saw Cozy playing you knew that every part of him was right there, on the drum kit. No matter which genre of music he was playing, he always gave everything he had. “My advice to anyone is to play your heart out” he once said in an interview. Even though he liked to be aggressive in his playing, far away from the stage Cozy was a lovely human being, his colleagues remember his great sense of humor but also his sensitivity and generosity. Today, sixteen years after his untimely passing, his work and legacy have not been forgotten by those who, all over the world, had been touched by his music. It would be nice if the city in which he grew up could dedicate something to him, just as a recognition of his brilliant carrier and his incredible life. I think he deserve it, having given so much to rock music.

Our baby's cot has 7days to be removed save our baby's cot... Target 100,000 signatures
We have recently made what looks like a cot bed for our beautiful baby girls birthday and popped it on her sleeping place it's within her plot that we bought for her. We can't buy her presents or share her birthdays as such this is our way of comfort and grief to be able to do the nice things we do for her forever bed and it's also nice for her sisters to be able to see who we take to see her too, we tend to/around the plot ourselves with a strimmer we bought to do it.. I really can't see what the problem is? However the heartless council decided to send us a letter "with compliments" to kindly take this away or they will and I want to do everything in our power to keep it there.. It looks beautiful and it's our own comfort as many people will understand.. Please sign a million times over for us to help this petition make a stand xx
