Petition to Major League Baseball
Get Rid of Fan Voting for the MLB All Star Game
Fan Voting for the MLB All-Star Game is a flawed and outdated system. The entire vote is a popularity contest. Teams with larger fan bases stuff the ballots while leaving deserving players in the dust. Instead of allowing the fans to vote, the MLB needs to select an unbiased and educated source to fill out the MLB All-Star rosters so that deserving players are rewarded with the opportunity to play in the All-Star Game.
Petition to MLB
Ban Angel Hernandez from umpiring MLB games
Angel Hernandez must not be allowed to umpire MLB games anymore. His inability to accurately make calls behind home plate or anywhere else on the field has gotten to the point where it is consistently compromising outcomes of games. The fact he cannot accept his failures and instead chooses to blame the MLB saying there is discrimination is unfounded and frankly insane, and action needs to be taken.
Petition to Major League Baseball, Charlie Sheen
Charlie Sheen (Rick "Wild Thing" Vaughn) Throws Out '19 MLB All-Star Game First Pitch
2019 marks the 30th anniversary of the classic movie Major League. The MLB All-Star game also happens to be taking place in Cleveland this season. We are calling for Charlie Sheen, who played rookie Cleveland Indians pitcher Rick "Wild Thing" Vaughn in the iconic movie, to throw out the first pitch of the 2019 MLB All-Star Game. Sheen was asked, if he would be open to the opportunity of throwing out the first pitch during the Cleveland Indians' 2016 World Series run. He replied on Twitter saying if Rick "Wild Thing" Vaughn was called into action to throw out the first pitch, he would be honored to take part. If any reps for Charlie Sheen can discuss please email us: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Petition to Long Beach City Council, Los Angeles Angels
Angels to LBC: Bring major league baseball to downtown Long Beach!
The Angels Major League Baseball team is seeking a new stadium to call home. The City of Long Beach owns an undeveloped beachfront parcel downtown that would make for the most unique and picturesque location for baseball in the nation. Major League Baseball in Long Beach would be an unparalleled economic driver for our existing downtown businesses. As a tax base generator, there are few attractions anywhere that can match the benefits of a major league baseball team. The city has publicly announced its interest in bringing the Angels to Long Beach, but they need to know that the residents of Long Beach and Angels fans are with them! Let's prove to the Angels that we're serious about welcoming them to our city. Your voice matters!
