Hemp is not a Drug Remove industrial Hemp from the Misuse of drugs act MoDA 1977

New Zealand is officially the last place in the world you are NOT able to use Hemp products as a food for humans or animals. Hemp Hearts until 2014 were legal to sell in New Zealand as a ingredient in animal products.  In 2014 the Ministry Of Health (MOH) sought a Crown Law opinion that changed the status of  Hemp Hearts from a product of Industrial Hemp to a Seed. A Seed is defined as “The unit of reproduction of a flowering plant, capable of developing into another such plant” this opinion made Hemp Hearts a drug requiring a licence. The NZHIA has challenged this opinion and Is requesting it be made public, as it not based on facts or knowledge and disabled the industries progress of Hemp Hearts for animal products.  Technically a nut, hemp Hearts are a optimum nutritional ingredient in human and animal products. They contain over 30% fat and are exceptionally rich in two essential fatty acids for healthy brain function and development, linoleic acid (omega-6) and alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3). They also contain gamma-linolenic acid, which has been linked to a number of health benefits. Hemp seeds are a great protein source, as more than 25% of their total calories are from high-quality digestible protein. They are also a great source of vitamin E and minerals such as phosphorus, potassium, sodium, magnesium, sulphur, calcium, iron and zinc. Containing 20 amino acids which aid in DNA repair, 9 of these animals can not produce, The leaves can be made for feedstocks and can be used in a wide range of natural animal health products.   Our last NZ govt can pass a bill in 48 hours for humans to drink alcohol at 5 am and watch the AB’s which causes far more social harm and has little health benefits.   MOH have issued licences for 17 years under the regulations which are supposed to enable licence holders to grow process and trade in products derived in part or in whole from the Industrial Hemp plant. Why are we enabled to obtain a licence to grow process and trade in Hemp under these regulations, yet disabled by the regulators Medicines control opinions from making animal products in part or in  whole from Industrial Hemp as the regulations state we can. September 7th 2017 Peter Dune made an amendment to the Misuse of Drugs act that classified ANY product containing Cannabidiol (CBD) a prescription medicine further disabling the Hemp industry and restricting the use of Hemp in animal feeds or agriculture. We agree that any therapeutic dose of CBD may have Drug interactions with other prescription medication and needs to be prescribed by a physician. However with the absence of harm from CBD to completely ban CBD from any products is not necessary and in fact detrimental to the progress of a viable industry. Grapefruit acts on the same p450 liver enzyme yet we don't ban this? Countries around the world that allow human and animal products to be made from Industrial Hemp are seeing the proven positive results for the health and wellbeing of animals and public alike.   At its November 2017 meeting, the World Health Organisation (WHO) Expert Committee on Drug Dependence (ECDD) concluded that, in its pure state, CBD is not a drug and does not appear to have abuse potential or cause harm. CBD is not currently a scheduled Drug in its own right. (only as a component of cannabis extracts) However, where CBD is produced for pharmaceutical purposes as an extract of cannabis, cannabis extracts and tinctures are included in the 1961 UN Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs.  The WHO does not recommend CBD for medical use.  Due to Industrial Hemps low THC content 0.35% and its inability to be used as a recreational drug for abuse IndustrialHemp produced for food or fibre is exempt from the UN single convention. The people who sign this petition ask the newly elected New Zealand Government to acknowledge that Industrial Hemp is not a drug and there is no need for it to be regulated as one. It has no potential harms associated with any products derived in part or in whole from the plant. Hemp is how we should educate our children on the correct uses for Cannabis Sativa L. The object of the regulations are supposed to enable licence holders to grow, process, produce, and trade in these products.  It in fact it has major economic and health benefits to New Zealand’s business, health, housing, environmental, and rural sectors.  Approving only Fibre and seed is only a portion of the 25000 possible uses for Industrial Hemp. Hemp has been around for 1000’s of years as a food fibre and dietary source of vital phyto nutrients and poses no harm for humans, enabling early voyagers to travel the world.  Industrial Hemp is Cannabis Sativa L genus that contains no more than 0.35% THC in flowering leaves and tops. For to long Hemp has been tainted with the Cannabis / marijuana restrictions and stigma, yet the lack of harm or potential for abuse of the whole plant or products made using industrial Hemp warrants no further justification for this.   Now in the Information age the New Zealand public are able to understand why this versatile functional food was removed from agriculture around the world, it was simply racism and greed.  We ask that the newly elected govt of New Zealand remove Industrial Hemp from MoDA and allow the industry to take advantage of all economic opportunities that the industry currently presents without restriction.   Isn’t It’s time to lead and not follow the rest of the world ? Hemp answers so many of the current issues New Zealand faces we ask that you do your own research and support our petition.

Field 21 million American World Service/Jobs Corps volunteers over the next 27 years.

People's Lobby's citizen-initiated proposed law will produce a robust, peaceful, productive national service program that helps our military volunteers create smarts, security, jobs, and a growing middle class.   The AWSC National Service proposed bill is at Imagine if 20 million Peace Corps Volunteers had served since 1961 rather than barely over 200,000... if the same increase applied to such do-good organizatiions like VISTA, AmeriCorps, do-good NGOs, etc... Imagine if People's Lobby Inc. (PLI) Joint US-USSR Peace Corps, which inspired Congresswomn Boxer to introduce it as HR 1807 in 1989, had by now produced 100,000 Russians and Americans who had served together as PCVs. Imagine if this ambitious, educational, enriching, and unifying national service program were funded with potentially no cost to tax payers thanks to its non-traditional funding mechanisms, Gates-Buffett Giving Pledge, and growing public awareness of huge inequities Would the world be a better, healthier place? Nixon opened China.  Press Trump's Congress to inspire, move and open the US, Russia, and other nations to peaceful robust AWSC National Service. Without money, PLI needs citizen pressure to attract strong original sponsors to introduce the AWSC Congressional Proposals.  PLI then needs your continued citizen support to add cosponsors and pass the legislation. This interactive letter to Congressional reps offers citizens the opportunity to press your representative to sponsor the AWSCNS Congressional Proposals that will create jobs, expand common sense, and strengthen public policies from the grassroots on up.  To sign the petition, click the "Take Action" or "Sign" button to the right under Uncle Sammy. BOYCOTT “Big Lick” TN Walking Classes – Delta Fall Classic Horse Show – Tunica (MS)

Please SIGN this Petition to STOP Animal Cruelty to beautiful Tennessee Walking Horses (“Big Lick”).    CCABLAC calls for a "WE, The People" BOYCOTT of this cruel "Big Lick" Horse Show. Tunica County (MS) is Delta farmland along the Mississippi River,  right below Memphis, Tennessee.  It is also a casino resort community, which has fallen on economic hard times. The “TUNICA HORSE SHOW” is the last major 2017 “Big Lick” Show.     Wealthy “Big Lickers”,  and their Trainer BOYZ , will take the Animal Cruelty  300 miles from the epicenter at Shelbyville, TN to the Delta flat land of rural bucolic Tunica, MS. The “Big Lickers” will party at the Gold Strike Casino on the Mississippi River, and then drive 12 miles over to the “Big Lick” Horse Show at the Tunica Arena and Expo Center on Highway 61 to enjoy the Animal Cruelty to Tennessee Walking Horses (“Big Lick”). On November 3,  2016,  a World Champion “Big Lick” exhibitor did just that, except he allegedly did something terribly wrong.    Mr. Richard Mitch of Pleasant Hill, MO,  allegedly drove his Nissan Frontier truck directly at a group of CCABLAC Animal Welfare Advocates who were peacefully protesting by holding a “BOYCOTT Big Lick Animal Cruelty Banner” while standing in front of the Tunica Arena and Expo Center.  A CCABLAC video caught all of it, and here is the BillyGoBoy.Com article: On August 23, 2017,  a personal injury  lawsuit was filed against Mr. Richard Mitch in U. S. District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi on behalf of a grandmother who was one of three CCABLAC Animal Welfare Advocates holding the Banner outside the Horse Show at the Tunica Arena and Expo Center on Nov. 3, 2016. On Sep. 1, 2017,  the following article ran on the front page of the Shelbyville Times-Gazette newspaper: In 2017,   CCABLAC peaceful protests against the Animal Cruelty to Tennessee Walking Horses have resulted in EMPTY STANDS at: *            Panama City Beach (FL)  - April 27 - 29 *           Columbia  (TN)  -  June 2 - 4 *           Shelbyville (TN) - TN Walking Horse Super Bowl (Celebration)Aug.24-Sep 2 *           Asheville (NC)  - Oct 2 - 4 Tennessee Walking Horses are TORTURED from an early age to learn how to do the “Big Lick”.   It is a pain-induced gait. The horses throw their legs high while wearing CHAINS and SIX – EIGHT POUND stack shoes.   Caustic chemicals are applied to sensitive skin above the horses hooves, and then wrapped with plastic to “cook in” the chemicals which causes the skin to be blistered.  When the chains hit the skin,  the horses throw their front legs high while squatting down on their back legs – creating the cruel “Big Lick”.  “Big Lick” TWH are the only horses in America which wear Chains in the show ring.  And they are shown as TWO YEAR OLDS.   According to native Tennessean and Noted Equine Vet Dr. John Haffner,   the      "Big Lick" is a "business built on the suffering and pain of horses".   Dr. Haffner is a member of the Horse Science Faculty at MTSU (Middle Tennessee State University) in Murfreesboro, TN. The State of Mississippi took a stand against the “Big Lick” Animal Cruelty in    March 2015, when the University of Mississippi Medical Center severed all ties with the “Big Lick” Mississippi Charity Horse Show in Jackson, MS; and refused to accept a $50,000.00 annual charitable donation. In October 2016,  due to the efforts of CCABLAC,   the death of the"Big Lick" Mississippi Charity Horse Show,  held for over 76 years on the Mississippi State Fairgrounds in Jackson, Mississippi,  was officially announced. After the wealthy “Big Lick” Multi-Millionaires have one last Hurrah at TUNICA, MS,  they will soon be getting calls from their Trainer BOYZ.  The Trainer BOYZ will tell them about the 16-18 month old colts recently started under saddle which are being tortured with abusive Training methods to see if they can do the “Big Lick” gait. The Trainer BOYZ will sell the Wealthy Owners the 'best' of these "EQUINE BABIES", and the vicious cycle starts all over again. This BillyGoBoy.Com video of the "Big Lick" at the 2016 TUNICA Horse Show by a CCABLAC Animal Welfare Advocate has reached over 928,000 persons, and been viewed over 109,000 Times. The Trainer BOYZ riding is Mr. John Allen Callaway.  He is the brother of Mr. Bill Callaway who went on Federal Suspension within 24 hours of winning the 2017 World Grand Championship at the Tennessee Walking Horse Super Bowl (Celebration) at Shelbyville, TN. After you SIGN,  please SHARE the petition with your friends and family via email, Face Book, and Twitter! Your PETITION Signatures and Comments will be delivered to the proper officials. Petition to United Nations Environment Program

Unity Eco Village research and development projects

The Unity Eco village Our mission is two-fold. Local and global. We aim to preserve and create upon the already beautiful surrounding nature an ecological farm community which will be a fine example for people around the world who are inquisitive about organic food, and living. We believe that in these times it is clearly imperative that humanity take seriously the efforts to address the problems of the world caused by contaminated foods, and natural resources. The solution we feel, as many do, is to preserve and expand the awareness and produce of the organic culture. Foods produces organically, meaning they are not contaminated with chemicals, antibiotics, or neither modified genetically (GMO) are healthier, tastier and friendly to the environment. Connected already with local farmers we mean to establish a center for educating more and more people in the practical application of organic farming. Their knowledge of the land and of techniques of farming passed down the ages are to be consciously preserved. Uniting with this will be knowledge brought in from other sources around the world as we aim to gather knowledge regarding the organic agri-culture. We will market and distribute accordingly. By bringing attention to organic farming we will create awareness of its importance and its science all over the world. We have plans to advertise through many mediums the importance of good food, and natural living, not only in Nepal but throughout the world. Presenting ourselves in festivals around the world we will not only bring attention to the cause of organic farming but to Nepal itself, thereby giving good representation in the growing field of sustainable living. As our local concern is Nepal, we will be working with local farmers to raise the standard of living in the rural areas. In this way, other non-organic farms may take note and decide to become organic. To assist with this we will develop our site into a working sustainable community. The community, which will not be isolated but integrated with the locality, will create schools for adults and for children. The school for adults will be to educate all who desire the education regarding organic farming etc. Also we will teach many subjects such as health preservation and care, ayurveda, yoga etc along with standard education subjects such as mathematics, English and science. In this way, the locals teach and are taught, and visitors invited for sharing we teach and be taught. These sharing schools will contribute to the preservation of knowledge in our future society. Such a school, created locally in Nepal, may then be forged again and again in other areas, in Nepal and also around the world. We will create also a school for children and invite poor and orphaned children to come and study. Again the subjects studied will be a mix of practical, spiritual, and social. One aim of our project is for our children to be content with their beautiful home, so they feel proud with no need to leave for foreign lands for education or entertainment. On the contrary, we will instead receive folks from all over the world who wish to absorb the local culture while simultaneously creating a new culture which is a blend of old and new. Entertainment will also therefore is also an important concern, for teenagers have a natural need, and a natural thirst for enjoyment and creation. We will create for them a music studio, and bring in teachers of music from Nepal and all around the world. In this way local music traditions may be preserved and foreign traditions may be received and integrated, with no need of travelling far. As well as a studio we aim to create art schools and craft schools within the community, again, preserving and educating locals and visitors about our culture. Alongside the practical is also the spiritual. We will create space for the teaching of spiritual sciences such as yoga and meditation. Such places will not be merely utilized for show but to educate those interested in this regard so they may continue the teachings of a rich heritage. All-in-all we aim to create a wonderful community where people are happy to co-exist, in nature. The success of this will surely be an education to anyone who recognizes as we do the problems created by separating the city life from the rural life, where farmers farm with no access to other community activities. In this way rural living will again be desired and our children will not wish to run to cities around the world where a struggle to compete with millions of people for money awaits them. We wish to share these ideas and creations with the people of Nepal and also inspire local people around the world to enjoy local living, and resurrect it in the minds of people, so that our food becomes predominantly organic again, so that our usage of pollutants becomes minimized, so that our health and happiness be with us constantly. We engage various workshops where local Nepali people as well as people from around the world will present their original crafts and skills, lecture on ancient Yoga and meditation techniques, New Age life style green ways, recycling, composting and how to contribute for the preservation of the Nature and Mother Earth. Ghaderi Eco Village is nestled in the hills over-looking Pokhara, bearing constant witness to the magnificent Annapurna ranga. It is a cosy village where locals grow there own organic food and live a happy life. It is a piece of heaven. Upon that ready heaven there is further ambition to cultivate a culture where much more than farming is seen. What the local life can teach is much yet children brought up in these villages still yearn for the adventures of the city and so the youth more often than not leave in search for another type of heaven. One that invariably does not exist. The goal of Ghaderi Eco Village is to bring awareness to the world of the heaven that exists in these rurals communities, and invite people to experience this first hand. Also we desire to rejuvenate the local scene by sharing ideas from all over the world. Thus we have Permaculture meeting with local culture, western traditional music meeting with local traditional music, and the convergence of other arts and philosophies such as yoga, meditation, reiki, massage etc. What is being created is the future. A merger of east and west, of new and old, of earth and spirit. We aim to build a school nearby which hosts local children and children visiting from all around the world, so that knowledge and love may be shared. We aim to establish an ashram and invite teachers to teach various subjects from all fields of esoteric study. We will create a music studio so that musicians from all around the world are attracted to come and enjoy the perfect place to create music of all types. And so that locals may produce sounds the world may also hear. Ghaderi Eco Village is therefore not an isolated experiment but the creation of future upon what has been preserved so well from ages. The locals are happy to see new colors, and visitors are happy to experience the hospitality of the locals and the sheer beauty of the place. We invite you to join us in our growth, in our uniting, in our sharing and creating of what must surely be an example for humanity. In these times it is essential to retrace our steps and apply natural wisdom in our future culture on Planet Earth. Where that respect for nature is let us maintain it, and from whose hearts that respect lies, let it be shared. We will host different kinds of festivals here and hope to see you one day, sharing what you know and learning what you may not. In unity we thus grow, and enjoy abundantly in this heaven in the hills   Unity Eco village project- IntroductionThe vision of creating a platform to spread peace and joy in the world by nurturing & protecting nature while promoting Eco tourism.
