Petition to Dublin Bus
Bring Dublin Bus back to Kilcock
as i am sure you’re aware, 8 years ago kilcock lost the dublin bus service.we replaced that with bus éireann, however, over the years bus éireann have consistently failed to give us a good service, with horrific prices, constantly late or not showing up and rude bus drivers. many citizens of kilcock have wanted dublin bus’ services back since we lost it, because we never wanted to lose it, and i am asking you now, to sign this petition in hope of bringing dublin bus back to kilcock. we are about to gain 3k+ more residents and bus éireann will absolutely not be able to facilitate this, nor can they even facilitate the population we currently have.as a citizen of kilcock, it would be incredible to have dublin bus’ services back in kilcock.thank you

Prevent bus companies from bullying drivers
Bus companies profit from operating mileage Because of the competition among bus operators bus drivers often are bullied: When requesting to take a toilet break When driving under speed limits When we have a faulty bus When assisting passengers When raising a safety concern When running late in service When with a cold/hot bus The above list is not exhaustive. It is unacepptable that a bus drivers' have to put up with bullying language and forms of intimidation by the bus companies. Usually threatened in the cab or victimised at work in a dark corner. The threats are usually failure of probation, termination of employment contract, limit chance of promotion in the structures of the company and finishing late. Bus drivers often find themselves being called "trouble maker" for acting in the interest of safety. We call on the TfL to investigate all bus operators. Hold bus operators accountable by ensuring all the recommendations in the driven to distraction report are adhered to by TfL and it's Bus Operators. All radio communications are observed independetly by an independent organisation between bus driver and the bus operator. We would like an audit carried out on the calls regularly and randomly to ensure bus drivers are not bullied. Implement professional radio protocol to bus drivers with language that are not deemed to be pressuring or intimidating. There have been far too many injuries and deaths bus related and accidents due to the bullying culture from Bus companies. By law the public, police, trade associations and a trade union can object the renewal of a bus operators license. Thus this petition falls under the category as public and trade union as bus workers in London are members of UNITE the Union. There are 25,000 bus workers in London and we aim to reach all passengers, public and bus drivers themselves calling for change. This petition was sent to office of the traffic commissioner and as they have failed to take action we are now sending this to the TfL.

End the cuts to bus subsidies in Suffolk
Successive Conservative-administrations on Suffolk County Council have slashed the budget for bus subsidy from £4.31 million in 2008/09 to £1.75 million in 2018/19, a reduction of 59% in 10 years. These cuts fall hardest on the poorest families in rural areas where unaffordable and unreliable public transport links make it hard to find and hold onto full-time employment. We are calling on the Tories to follow other councils who have put an end to bus subsidy cuts, to protect our bus services and make them sustainable for the future, putting Suffolk's residents first. Join us by signing the petition.
Petition to Cambridge City Council, Stagecoach East, Department for transport
Improving local transport in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
As a Cambridge citizen, I can no longer witness the terrible service by Stagecoach East. The long delays of some of the main city bus lines are stressing hundreds of people every single day. The lack of adequate information about the constant delays is also a huge problem. Everybody in town knows how hard it is to catch your morning bus when using Citi2, although there are similar complaint s for the rest of the buses serving Cambridgeshire area. The constant delays often are happening in the hours when people are usually going to/back from work. Take a look at Stage coach's Twitter account and Google Reviews and you will see that this is not one citizen's problem, it is the problem of the whole Cambridgeshire area. I urge every citizen, who feels failed by the Stagecoach East services to join me, by signing this petition. This summer (2018) the prices of the tickets were raised - sadly, the quality of the service is only becoming worse. I think we must all unite to improve the image of our city - Cambridge's famous worldwide, but once you step here, you realize how hard it actually is to go from one place to another, without having to wait and lose precious time at the city's bus stops. The lack of reliable service is also affecting the most vulnerable social groups - think of all the disabled citizens, people of old age, mothers with young children, who are forced to wait and be late for social activities, doctor appointment, etc. I am addressing my plea to the city's authorities - please take action, investigate the issue and work to improve the situation. Find the real reason behind all those delays. A discussion must start - between the City Council and Stagecoach East's managing team, their drivers and all staff. All citizens and guests of the city deserve much better public transport.
