Change the minimum spacing requirements for crib slats
Currently, crib slat distance is mandated to be 2 and 3/8 inches. This is too wide, as children are getting their limbs stuck. Some children have ended up with broken bones and large bruises from the accidents. My own 7 month old just recently got his leg stuck. I called the manufacturer and the associate did not care. So, I went to the next level. After speaking directly to the Consumer Protection Safety Commission, I was informed they see 7 to 10 complaints weekly, and yet nothing is being done. They believe if they have smaller distances, then smaller limbs will get stuck. In reality, smaller limbed children tend to be swaddled or not as active as their larger counterparts. As such, they would not be as likely to be stuck, and if they were, I don't believe it would be as often. I would like to see the distance be changed to 2 inches between slats. I believe this would save a lot of injuries. Please share with friends and family members. Thank you!!

Changing tables in every public restroom
I have used numerous bathrooms that did not have a changing table, requiring me to change my daughter in a cart, in a window sill, and in my cold car. I even had one place offer me their office floor to change my daughter. I've also had to use the restroom myself and not been able to because there's no where for me to put my baby while I did. Holding my daughter while I use the bathroom seems awfully unsanitary even though I've done it. If one stall in every public Restroom had a changing table with restraint for safety, near the toilet so moms AND DADS can use the restroom safely and sanitarily. I also believe that changing tables should be inspected and it should be state mandated. I used a Changing station at a McDonald's in Amsterdam and my daughter nearly rolled off of it when I placed her on it. If I trusted that it was safe and wasn't holding my daughter when it happened, she would have fallen off.

Diaper Changing Tables In All Public Restrooms
As a concerned parent, I feel it's necessary for all places of business that have both Public and Customer restrooms, supply Diaper Changing Tables in their restrooms by law. It is a problem for the people who have children who are costumers. These businesses who welcome guests with children should supply these Changing Tables in both men, and womans restrooms. The reasons that Tables should be in both gender facilities is one fact that a man can be a single father, or a woman a single mother. Other reasons being the parents could be simply taking turns changing their child. There are safety concerns when it comes to not having a place to change your childs diaper. Especially if it is serious. It has become a great problem for many parents who have to go to other places just to change their childs diaper. When they could take care of their child where they are and do it at the business or store they are at already, in a equipped restroom. This is a great opportunity for the businesses to be more family friendly. This also most importantly makes it easier and safer for the parents in America to care for our children.
