(ENGLISH VERSION) 6 months without knowing where our pets Lola and Charlie are, brutally separated from us in LondonIt has been 4 months since we have had any news about our adorable dogs, Lola and Charlie. Since then, we have been thinking about them every single day. The worse thing is we do not have any idea where and how they are.On the 5th of May last, Lola and Charlie were brutally snatched by the Police in London. My son (their owner) had popped into the store, left the windows opened for the dogs to get fresh air (it was not a hot day by any means) and when he got back the Police was taken the dogs out from my son’s car while he was present. Not only did he not get any information from the Police, but also, he was not afforded the opportunity to reassure the dogs. Neither did they take any details about the dogs’ special needs. For instance, Lola was sterilized a few months ago so she really needs to be fed with the proper food and to do a lot of exercise daily. She is a very loving dog, she spends most of the time close to us looking for affection and games. Everybody who knows her is devastated about what is happening. Lola is probably really missing her walks in the woods; her baths into her favourite lake; her trips with her owner (my son) and Charlie, her companion who she treats like a son, they are inseparable. As for Charlie, he is just a puppy who needs affection and at his tender age (10 months) needs to be trained. That day, the 5th of May, was the last time my son saw the dogs and we have been looking for them non-stop ever since. This is desperate! My son has been visiting several police stations in London, City councils, animal shelters (RSPCA) calling to Metropolitan Police on a daily basis but in vain. He went on holidays to London and he had to return to Spain devastated without his dogs.Since returning to Spain, he has been calling non-stop, only to get the same answer “Someone will call you back soon” but nobody does. It seems that nobody wants to take responsibility even though they are animals who are waiting to go back home as soon as possible. As the Metropolitan Police have not responded, we made contact (on the 17th of May) with several institutions; animal shelters, the Department of Foreign Affairs and with Spanish Consulate in London, where the person in charge has been making some inquiries. Someone from Metropolitan Police informed him (the consular assistant) by e-mail that the dogs were in the Newham City Council but my son went and they were not there. The consular assistant also wrote a letter to Ilford Police Station (the last place where the dogs were) but no response; several calls to RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of cruelty Animals) but they were not involved in this case…After a few days trying to get some helpful information about the whereabouts of the dogs, the consular assistant managed to contact the inspector Heaher Ingle who apparently is in charge of our dogs’ case. She answered him back (always by e-mail) after some days saying “we are investigating the case and the dogs are safe and well (no proof of that). We are awaiting a test from our veterinarian and it will take him a few weeks” … This is unacceptable! And the dogs’ whereabouts is still unknown. That is unfair, painful, for the animals and for us, we are all suffering every single minute without knowing anything of their wellbeing and the conditions they are in.Via the consular assistant we sent to the female police officer, Heather Ingle, a letter from the veterinarian who has been looking after all our pets for many years, and another letter written by us praying for the immediate return home of Lola and Charlie. This was useless as she did not reply meaning she does not care about our suffering. My son continued to call the Metropolitan Police and one day they informed him that the person who is in charge, Heather Ingle, had gone on holidays 25th of June: sad and unfortunate that she is on holidays while we are anxiously waiting for some news from her. As for us, we are a family who loves animals. We have four pets: Niko a 13 years old dog who was adopted from an animal shelter; Caco, an 8 years old cat, rescued sick from the street; Lola, our lovely female dog 7 years old, adopted by my son in London where someone wanted to put her down for not being a pure breed Rottweiler; and Charlie, the last pet to come to our home at 10 months old who was also rescued from the street, he was going to be abandoned as his owners could not look after him anymore. Both, Lola and Charlie, need constant affection and love, they are not used to being away from their owner. They should already BE their family in Spain, there is no point having them somewhere unknown as if they were in prison. This request goes to the Mayor of London as we believe he is the person who might solve this painful situation and also for any organisation which is concerned about animal welfare. We would also like to send this petition to any media who might make this case public in either London or Spain to prevent this kind of things for happening again.

Stop spending Public Money on the political events & ceremonies!

We still have massive poverty all over India. Income inequalities are not narrowing down, rich are getting richer and poor are getting poorer. On one hand thousands of our countrymen don't even get meals twice a day; on the other hand we can notice daily thousands of events & ceremonies are taking place all over India. In all these ceremonies we spend crores of rupees on erection of stages, sitting arrangements, lighting, flower garlands, decorations and sound system. Stop wasting Public Money! Delhi is our Capital and Mumbai is Financial Capital therefore, I am expecting two young leaders, CM of these states to drive this initiative. Appeal your supporters to further drive this initiative. Stop accepting flower bouquet and garlands from followers, supporters & public. Hon. CM, Hon. PM & other Hon. ministers attend many public functions daily and we can save millions if we stop wasting money on such meaningless gestures. I hope that countrymen will agree on this point that we should reduce meaningless expenditure on huge flower garlands which one can't even bear for more than 2 minutes. Hereby, I would like to appeal people to stop wasting money on presenting such flower bouquet and garlands to politicians or chief guests in ceremonies. Even if people won't present flower bouquet and garlands, the public representatives have to perform their duties. Stop wasting money! There are better ways of showing respect & loyalty towards your favourite leaders. Now, 2019 General Elections are approaching and there will be political campaigns all over India and politicians will spend millions of rupees on these flower garlands. Election Commission should intervene and stop this nonsense!
