I’m a single mother of two kids and a proud Seattle business owner. When our family fell on hard times, I asked the bank for a loan modification that, under law, I am qualified to receive. Now, Bank of America is trying to kick my family out of our home and foreclose on my business. But with your support, I’m fighting back. I have been trying for 17 months to get a loan modification with Bank of America, providing endless copies of paperwork and being told repeatedly to resubmit lost or misplaced paperwork. A Seattle reporter verified the bank’s carelessness in dealing with my case, in a story here.Bank of America even went so far as to “block” my account to prevent any payments to make sure my account went into late payment so as to “help jump start the loan modification action,” as they put it! Is that legal?As a small business owner and well-respected member of the community, I am ready to make my story public. This is my home as well as my job. I am a divorced, single mother of two. I was recently awarded the house and property, as this is where I work. I own and operate the home-based business Perennial Nursery and educational center in a very culturally diverse community. This business hosts many classes for our community, including planting, permaculture, sustainability and composting. We host schools and camps for classes and educational tours. We also work with the South Seattle Community College by proving internships and training programs. I regularly work with many schools in the area, local non-profits, and South Seattle Community College and strive to bring my community together by collaborating with other business owners in the White Center/Seattle area. It's time for homeowners and business owners to stand up together. We deserve a fair, reasonable process for pursuing loan modification. Read more

Days ago more than 36 women and female children from the eastern villages of SWEIDA district in Syria were kidnapped by ISIS. No one in the world is even talking about them. Nobody cares. And of course, we're never going to wait for others to come and help. They are intended to be used as human shields. Worse than that, they are going, right now under enormous physical and mental stress because they can/may be raped, tortured, killed and for any evil purposes one can imagine.
Their relatives have no abilities to reach for real help. They are helpless, have no real financial or other means to help them.

George Floyd was brutally murdered whilst begging for his life by ex-officer and murderer Derek Chauvin on camera on May 25, 2020. The video became viral on Facebook and reminded countless of us that racism is unfortunately still alive and well. Even though Floyd was handcuffed and 100% compliant with these 4 officers, Derek Chauvin put his knee on Floyd’s carotid artery for more than 8 minutes until he could no longer take a breath, murdering him. Tou Thao, Thomas Lane, and J. Alexander Kueng all WATCHED, STOOD IDLY BY, and ALSO KNEELED ON HIS BACK SIMULTANEOUSLY. Throughout this heinous act, Floyd stayed complicit on the ground, simply begging for his mother and told the officers he could not breathe MORE than 14 times.
So, now we must show those abusers of power that we CARE and DEMAND JUSTICE. Make George’s name heard. For him and his family, SHARE and SIGN this petition to YOUR friends and family to spread awareness of the ongoing police brutality and killings that MUST be brought to JUSTICE!
UPDATE: Derek Chauvin (the one who directly murdered Floyd), Tou Thao, Thomas Lane, and J. Alexander Kueng have all been ARRESTED. Chauvin has been INDICTED FOR SECOND DEGREE MURDER but their cases have just begun. I will not petiton for a higher charge because Chauvin could be found not guilty for premeditation and walk out scot-free. Instead, I ask you guys to keep supporting and showing your power in numbers by signing this petition and raising awareness.
We need Minnesota State officers of power to see how MUCH we want justice for George Floyd. THANK YOU!
