What Your Contribution Supports
Influence over decision makers
Decision makers don’t always answer to the people they serve. Change.org helps people reach the business and government leaders whose decisions impact their lives, giving them the power and voices they deserve to speak out on issues that matter to them.
Two 11-year old Calgary students started out with a science project about plastic waste. With help from Change.org, their project grew into an international campaign asking Starbucks to reduce their impact on the environment. After collecting over 340,000 signatures, their campaign influenced Starbucks CEO Kevin Johnson to invest $10 million USD to develop a fully recyclable and compostable cup.

Business for impact
We believe technology can drive change at a scale that’s never been seen before -- this requires the innovation of a tech startup, but comes with all the costs of a top website. That’s why we’re a company, not a non-profit. We're certified as a company dedicated to public benefit, which means we have a social mission that's held to high external standards of accountability. Our model relies on membership contributions from people like you.
Contributions are processed in Canadian dollars. They are not tax-deductible, and you can cancel or modify them at any time.
