Campaign to save the centre hits YouTube continued (part 3)
It feels as though we have gone back in time, to when vulnerable people were looked upon as inconveniences rather than individuals who deserve as equal a shot at a happy and fulfilled life as every one of us.
Whichever centre is closed will have a devastating impact on a number of special people just like Kerry, and their carers; lots of whom are now pensioners and still lovingly look after their adult children with special needs.
This decision is purely being made to save money, and no thought appears to have been given to the impact it will have on the wellbeing of vulnerable people and their carers.
Please help us to help Kerry shout out her message to the people making this reckless decision, and STOP this awful decision. You can help by.. forwarding this message. Or, if you live near enough please join us (with Unison) on Thursday 7th February 2013 at 5.30pm at Wallasey Town Hall, Brighton Street, CH44 8ED.
