Stop the degradation of African Americans using negative programming.

    1. Petition by

      Kim Robinson

      Mobil, United States

I petition for VH1 (owned by Viacom), Bravo and Oxygen (owned by NBCUniversal) television networks to stop creating reality television shows with the intentional purpose of degrading the African American image and culture. These shows have a negative impact on society and create an unwarranted stereotype of African Americans.
I petition to Oxygen (NBCUniversal) to cancel the new series “All My Babies’ Mommas” featuring rapper Carlos “Shawty Lo” Walker. The use of “Babies’ Mommas” term is disrespectful and in poor taste. The concept of the program creates a negative image for African American men. We have to stop allowing the media to display the negative side of African American culture for ratings and money. In order to make an impact, our voices must be heard loud and clear. Please sign this petition below!

Seems like they are bringing negativity to themselves and enjoying it! The media outlets are just plain stupid for allowing them to do so.
