People have been growing and sharing and/or bartering with friends and neighbors almost since the beginning of recorded history. We The People should never let a Government which we voted into office take these rights away. Preserve our way of life!

"If people let the government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as are the souls of those who live under tyranny." ~Thomas Jefferson

If that is not enough, I think it is criminal and very sad that our democracy is ruled by international corporations. If this bill passed it would allow Monsanto to occupy a monopoly on food supply. I find it disgusting that our government is bought off and ran by lobbyist. In which APPOINTED head of FDA, Michael Taylor, was and is still.

This is furthering the power of the government to control lives of it's citizens. "Absolute power corrupts absolutely."

Any government that would try to make citizens growing their own food illegal is an illegal government.
