This was a gratuitous racist act; it is arrested Zimmerman has not been arrested and that Florida whites seem to be in collusion or complacency about this.

There is something terribly UNJUST and DYSFUNCTIONAL with this judicial system, when a cold blooded MURDERER can blatantly kill an innocent teenager without facing ANY charges for the crime, while the innocent, un-armed VICTIM who did absolutely nothing wrong is DEAD without any justice whatsoever!! This cannot stand, and the people will not allow it to stand, like too many of the "lynching laws" of the 1950's, or the Rodney King murder which was another atrocity for a so called civilized, just society. We cannot and will not rest nor remain silent when JUSTICE FOR VICTIMS IS DENIED WHILE THE RIGHTS OF MURDERERS ARE ELEVATED. This "Stand Your Ground" law must be struck down and this murder put on trial to restore "Fairness and Balance" to the Justice System in FLorida and the USA. The man who shot and killed an innocent boy must face a judge and jury now. This looks AS UGLY AS ALL HATES CRIMES and must be treated as such with the full force of the law applied. Justice For Trayson!!! May He Rest in Peace.

A murder was committed and the shooter needs to be charged and prosecuted. Let the courts do their work. There are many very deep issues here and I wouldn't want to simplify them to "gratuitous racist act" or some other slogan.
