As Colorado Representative Ed Perlmutter states, the Aurora shooting murders have
To be the last of this sort we have to mourn about. The scene of this massacre is wi_
thin 20 miles of another one that horrified our nation, at Columbine High School, yet, out of cowardice, apathy, ignorance and paranoia, we have caved to the NRA and
The group of politicians they control. Not anymore. There is no valid reason why it
Should be legal for anyone to purchase assault weapons in this Country, period. Let's
bring about change to honor all those fellow Americans senselessly murdered just because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

For the public safety of citizens and law enforcement officers. We must take a stand for the public good and against ill-advised special interest groups who bastardize the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

Congress's failure to keep these weapons of mass destruction of human life unavailable to the mainstream public, has allowed too many massacres. It is time to enact serious, tough legislation that limits these products to only active military and law enforcement officers. If these weapons are found in the hands of any citizen who is not active military or active law enforcement, and is not being used in the line of duty, they should be immediately confiscated and destroyed.

There is no reason that a civilian citizen should have access to these weapons. You don't need an assault weapon and 6000 rounds of ammunition to defend your home or to hunt deer. Time for a change and to go against the lobbying of the NRA.

Gun groups won't work with Congress for sensible controls and even thwart them. Maybe it is time for a permanent ban unless they can assume some responsibility for their actions. It's always too late after the fact of these tragedies.

I will no longer contribute to any campaign, political movement or charity until and unless that entity shows the courage to speak out against the NRA’s political influence and has the courage to challenge that influence.

I will only support those who activity campaign to BAN ALL ASSAULT WEAPONS and LARGE CAPACITY AMMUNITION MAGAZINES and put real restrictions on all weapons sold in the USA.

I want real gun control. Enough is enough!!

I will be posting this message on all social media asking others to join me.
