On this TV show, pet breeds of snakes are dumped into a vat of ice water with a frightened, thrashing contestant. None of these snakes are swimming species. They are at risk of immediate injury and death from the temperature, drowning, and the contestant's thrashing. After the show they continue to be in danger of respiratory infections from breathing in the water, as well as prolonged risk of death from the cold temperatures. This is inhumane and blatant animal abuse.
