We, members of the Penn community, support the Rovers of the Allied Barton Security Officers in their efforts to form a union. We appreciate the work they do to keep us safe at all hours of every day and we demand that Allied Barton and the Penn administration respect their right to organize.

Every member of the Penn community deserves respect, including the fair wages and benefits which unions have long helped to obtain.

I am signing to support the basic digniy and respect for all workers here at UPENN to be entitled to a fair wage, good benefits, hope and the courage to perform their duties and responsibilities to the best of their ability and that their wages reflect this effort.

As an alum of Penn Law and as a Penn faculty member for more than 20 years, I wholeheartedly support the efforts of all Penn faculty and staff -- as well as the staff of all Penn's sub-contracted firms(e.g., Allied Barton) -- to secure fair and just wages, benefits, and working conditions.

For all these workers do for us as students and other members of the Penn community, respecting their right to organize is a small thing to ask in return. Penn should do the right thing and let these workers unionize.
