Over one million Americans fought in the Iraq War. they came from every city in America. Philadelphia has parades down Broad for its sports teams, but what about its returning heroes. They deserve to be honored and thanked. Now that War is over, let's show our heroes our appreciation with a parade.

Why do the vets have to wait for the Pentagon's permission?

Philadelphia was once a great military town. But base closures and the decline of the local economy mean that fewer and fewer active and retired members live in our region. I am an Iraq veteran, I choose to live here and would like to see the reputation of Philly as a military-friendly place rise again!

My son in law served in the Australian Army in Iraq and Afghanistan. I think that all men and women who risked their lives deserve respect from us.
