My sister works at that school teaching children. Not only would she lose her job, but those children will be thrust into a new, and most likely larger, school further impairing their ability to learn Please be fair to public schools.

This is important to me because I am a Charter School Teacher!

I'm signing this because I believe educating our children is the key to the future. All we ever hear from the government is that "education is important" and on the other hand they cut funding. There is a lot of waste in other departments. I challenge the Governor and the Members of the New York State Legislator to step up and "Walk the Walk" not just talk.

Our students and families need to know that their children can have a better education without a cost. Charter Schools should receive the same amount of funding.
