Tell President Obama That We Need A Global Development Strategy

President Obama recently released a plan to address the Millennium Development Goals - but this is only a stepping stone in the fight to end global poverty. What we really need is a Global Development Strategy to guide all our efforts to end global poverty.

Without it, we will come up short.

We need to change the way we do business with respect to foreign assistance and development.  It is time to bring our tools for delivering foreign aid into the 21st century so that we can do more to help those in need. Change is needed now, because effective foreign assistance and a smart approach to development have never been more important to the success of U.S. foreign policy.

Fighting poverty and its root causes is no small task. But with the right strategy in place, we can make real changes to the way we tackle issues like hunger, poverty, and health.

Tell President Obama to present America's first-ever Global Development Strategy at the upcoming United Nations Millennium Development Goals Summit.
