The animals held by this feed store are being kept in barbaric conditions, only minimally abiding by the law. The animals are not given sufficient water, and often have little or no shade to rest in. At this time of year in Louisiana, the temperature is generally above 95F, with heat indices above 100 every day.

This is inhumane. Stand out in the sun when it's 95? No shade? Try it. Dirty water to drink? Animals need CLEAN WATER especially when it's hot. Panting animals -- that's a clue they're too hot. These animals need to be taken away from these cruel conditions. This is pathetic!

Why are these animals being held there? Is this supposed to be for show? This is barbaric!

If you can not provide the proper water, food, and shelter for one or many pets, you need to find homes for them. In this LA climate extra care is needed for all animals multiple times a day. Obviously, all of these animals need better living conditions.

This is animal cruelty. If you aren't going to take care of the animals, why have them? Let people who truly want to care for them adopt them. Won't cost you a dime. Selfish, hateful people.
