Dear Susan Ross and Co,
I've lived in Palo Alto since I was 3 months old. That's 35 years. Yes...things have changed...but one thing that has always been here is Cho's. From biking there with my friends when I was 10, to enjoying some great pork buns before a Stanford football game, to introducing my two young boys to the joys of Cho's hot sauce, it is more than just the best pot stickers you can get on the peninsula...it is a Palo Alto institution. Cho's represents everything good about this town (or at least everything that was good about this town). That a small business can make it. That a man, and his family, through years of hard work can earn a permanent place in our town. That we value more that just a fancy restaurant....we value community, commitment to those around us, and unique contributions to our neighborhoods.
Susan, I urge you to work with Cho's to find a way to include his restaurant in your new plans. I, for one, do not want to live in a community where we simply kick out establishments because you can make a few more bucks. Please save Cho's!!
