Irene Aguilar responds:

Irene Aguilar

Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention. I have received many messages
regarding the proposed completion of the Denver beltway through a Jefferson County
toll road and development in the Rocky Flats Wildlife Refuge.

I chose to run for the State Senate so that I could help positively impact systemic health
issues facing Coloradoans that I was unable to address from my doctor’s office. The health
concerns raised in the “STOP the building of a toll road, trails and bike paths on Rocky Flats
Wildlife Refuge” petition are very important to me. I also value protecting our environment,
and smart economic development for our state. Because you have brought this issue to my
attention, I will follow this issue so that I can make informed decisions on what is best for
Colorado.

Thank you again for your participation in the democratic process, and I personally thank you
for keeping me informed on the issues relating to the proposed Jefferson County toll road and
development in the Rocky Flats Wildlife Refuge.

Sincerely,
Senator Irene Aguilar, M.D.
