Dennis Chavez Video File.wmv: http://youtu.be/yij-mNuMM8I via @youtube These animals should never suffer this way. A vet is on site at this auction house, but nothing was done to end these horses suffering. This Auction house needs to be regulated or shut down. Most of all, Dennis Chavez should never be allowed to be around animals. Please share this video with everyone you know. Upon arrival at the Southwest Livestock auction premises, investigators noted that there were approx. 500 horses in the pen area. Several trucks and empty single & double deck trailers were parked in front of the pen area.A sign next to the driveway advertised the auctions weekly cattle and horse sale, held every Saturday at noon. Several of the horses in the pen area had auction tags still attached to them. Some of the horses were thin.According to owner/shipper papers recently obtained via Freedom of Information Act Request, Chavez ships close to 400 horses every month to slaughter in Mexico.Records also indicate that many of the horses in his shipments end up at the municipal slaughter plant in Juarez, which is not approved by the European Union and still uses the Puntilla knife.

We need to continue to sign this petition so the court sees that this animal cruelty is not acceptable and to make sure that Dennis Chavez doesn't just get a slap on the wrist.

Because I just checked NMcourts.gov and there are no charges yet people.

If they charge for these crimes, they won't be able to open up a slaughter plant here, hence....no charges.

This is torture. If this happened in Central Park no one would tolerate it. People who do this thrive because they count on others not to get involved. Get involved-say this WILL NOT happen in the USA. Would we look the other way if it were dogs or cats?

You wonder why people are signing this, have open yours eyes to SEE what is going on. If we leave our dog in the car they break our windows to get the animals out. And you think starving the animals are OK, are you fucking
