Robert T. Sams murdered my father on November 14th, 2009. This is his second murder and came only 17 months after his parole release from the prison for the first murder. Although he admitted to shooting and killing my father, he was allowed to plea for manslaughter and be given a 20 year sentence. He will be eligible for parole in 40 years. I will never see my father again. The images that I have permenantly in my mind of my fathers body dumped along the street, wrapped in a sheet will never go away. I don't feel that the proper message to send to my family is that we can lose someone forever, but the person that took them away deserves a THIRD chance. Please help me make sure that he can never hurt anyone else.

During a punishment hearing nearly two decades ago, Robert T. Sams wept on the witness stand as he begged the jury to show him mercy. The prosecutor said Sams, then 18, deserved life in prison for murdering a man who tried to stop the teen from stealing a bag of corn chips from a grocery ...

This person has murdered twice and caused a lifetime of grief from the loss for the immediate families of those murdered along with the extended families. The murderer didn't deserve the 2nd chance that he felt made it OK to do again & he did! He obviously has no remorse or every will. He needs to be kept behind bars to prevent happening again.

The man murdered was a very good friend of mine. I have been knowing him and his family since I was a kid. The man that murdered him, Robert T. Sams should have never been set free. He had a second chance at life and failed. Robin did NOT get a chance. He was shoot several time, his body was wrapped in a sheet, and dummped on a curd side, and thats where he spent the last minutes of his life. No one deserves that. Robert T. Sams didnt care that Robin had a family, kids, and many people that loved him. In court Robert T. Sams actually admitted to killing Robin Saddler. So for that I don't think he should ever get another chance to walk the streets agian.
