Stand with Rush Holt & Put a Stop to Needless Government Surveillance of Americans

Stand with Rush Holt & Put a Stop to Needless Government Surveillance of Americans

    1. Sponsored by

      Rush Holt for U.S. Senate

Congressman Holt has repeatedly and vigorously opposed extensions or expansions of government surveillance of innocent Americans during his time on the House Intelligence Committee.

He supports replacing the PATRIOT Act and FISA Amendments Act with laws that preserve the constitutional rights of Americans and provide better privacy protections for Americans, while more efficiently protecting Americans from threats.

Now Rush Holt is running for Senate in the special election to fill Senator Lautenberg’s seat. Please sign the petition and support Congressman Rush Holt.

I stand with Congressman Rush Holt -- it's time to replace the PATRIOT ACT and the FISA Amendments with laws that provide better protections and preserve the constitutional rights of Americans. Americans should be protected from warrantless government surveillance.

This is why Edward Snowden blew the whistle on the government. When we need the government to protect us they don't and when they want to expand control they abuse power with needless surveillance. My mother was the victim of a crime that was caught on surveillance at a government job, when she reported it they hid the evidence and continually harassed her. Congressman Holt is correct in opposing wreckless surveillance that are rooted in lusts for power rather than a desire to help citizens.
