Sign to give them a voice...even though they are silent now..you can save future generations. I am from Vancouver, recent  site of the Olympics last February. Almost 100 sled dogs were shot...there were bodies upon bodies...the "shooter" came back the second day to "finish the job". All because these precious souls were "not needed" and "discarded" because the tourist business had "slowed down" after the Olympic events. The "shooter" is now being compensated by WCB because he is under "stress". Why didn't he just say NO? The ONLY reason this story was uncovered is because of his application for financial benefits...Please..sign this...we need to regulate ..OR..totally ban the dog sleg industry....the Huskies are mistreated and promoted in an unbelievable  way...they should be our Canadian icon..let's stop this abuse...

And we really thought, Canada is a modern and friendly place to stay. We cancelled our holidays in Alberta recently and now boycott every products form Canada!

I can't believe we are paying someone because they killed an amazing amount of helpless animals. These animals should have been given decent homes. The business that made money off of these animals aught to be fined for each and every one of the animals it had killed and they should be the ones paying their employee for his stress leave. This is a horrendous act and I can't believe we are letting it go unpunished. What happened to cruelty to animals? Is it no longer punishable?

This is Canada's shame and is being seen and heard about all over the world. Why was adoption not an option instead of slaughtering innocent animals who did nothing wrong. Another good reason to stop the cruel Itarod race.
