This World Food Day, you have the chance to give a baby a healthy start to life.
The first 1,000 days is the most crucial period of any child’s life, but far too many do not get the food they need to survive. The consequences of malnutrition during this critical window—from pregnancy through age two—are severe and irreversible. Last year 3.5 million children died of malnutrition. These deaths are 100 percent preventable.
That’s why World Food Program USA is committed to breaking the cycle of malnutrition by getting mothers and their babies the right foods at the right time.
Hunger is the world’s greatest solvable problem. Together, we can give babies a strong and healthy start to life.
Join WFP USA and pledge to help feed kids in their first 1,000 days. Be a part of the solution this World Food Day with this simple pledge.
