Stop the destruction of one of Philadelphia's most treasured pieces of art.

I am one of more than a thousand people who have already signed this petition.

Art brings people together in communities. And, it is a draw for others outside the area. Thousands of tourists come to Philadelphia each year and to 9th and Bainbridge to view Autumn, a mural by David Guinn and the Mural Arts Program. The mural brings revenue to the area as people stop to eat and shop in our neighborhood.   I want this beautiful piece of art to stay where it is.

All, last night was a battle at the zoning board meeting. We have two more weeks before a decision will be made. I want to thank everyone who has signed this petition and left comments. Those are heartwarming! The people deciding on the fate of the mural are receiving those. We had a lot of great media out - WHYY has a story on it and NBC-10 covered it. Keep the dream alive!

I have visited the Mural Mile Tour in October, and I deeply admire the program and every mural. This one has a history, and it is also connected with the other 3, so I strongly believe that it should stay where it is.

David Guinn's mural 'Autumn' is so lovely and it would be a terrible loss to the city to replace it with an unfortunate building from an out of town developer.

These murals need protection. It's a terrible shame what happened to the Sinatra mural at Broad and Wharton.

I lived in Philadelphia for eleven years, and my favorite thing about the city - and the thing I always showed off to visitors - were the murals. They are beautiful, thought-provoking, and much needed.
