NHL Players, Union and President Obama: Stop the NHL lockout and get the players back to work

The real victims in the NHL lockout are the workers from the cleaners of the arenas, to usher staff, to security, to building management as well as LOCAL owned businesses , restaurants and attractions around the arenas. The NHL and Players need to come together and come to an agreement to get the season started. Too many businesses are being impacted by the lockout as well as workers of the arenas. We the undersigned ask President Obama to step in and stop the lockout. Invite both sides to the White House for a "Beer Summit" and please get NHL back to work. Thousands of part time workers depend on these jobs to pay bills and make less than the hockey players do in one minute. So please support the workers today and tell the President to step in and get the NHL back to work. Please Sign today!

Fire Bettman and the problem is solved. That's about the only way this league is going to survive after this ridiculous display of utter stupidity by the leagues commissioner. A two week holiday, while former NHL workers are being laid off. Businesses dependent on the NHL are losing money left, right and center. Real people are losing their homes etc because this twit is too pompous and self-centered to sit and actually try and work out a deal. It's his way or the highway and I think it's about time he hits the highway. Merry Friggin' Christmas everyone.

The only ones being hurt by the lockout are the workers of the arenas and local businesses. The President needs to get the NHL and Players to come to an agreement.
