Just because some women is above the law, and an officer acts rashly, does not mean that he should lose his job, ESPECIALLY if no-one was hurt.

It is important for Elias Montoya to be reinstated because he is an excellent office who was trying to protect the safety of our community and the other officer. They driver was wrong in not cooperating with the first officer and when he came to the scene he was in the right to help out his fellow officer and try to regain the safety of the situation. He should be reinstated and commended for his actions. Our community needs to feel safe and when our officers are treated like this it says to other criminals that their bad behavior is allowed.

He was fired for the ignorance of a woman who not only put herself in danger but her children. Elias had every right to do as he did.
