Fracking is an unworkable, dangerous attempt at a solution for energy needs. Be a responsible nation and ban fracking federally now!

NB doesn't need to frack with its environmental degradation. Quebec has a lot of surplus power which it is selling at far below cost. Take advantage of a bargain.

Only once the last tree will be cut down, the last animal killed and the last stream poisoned will we realize that we cannot eat money.

It's no brainer that water is essential to our survival. What are we going to do if our water gets polluted here in NB, and we only realize it 20 years down the road? Oops? Yeah big time. You can tell me fracking is safe and shove your studies that prove so under my nose, It is still a fact that the process uses chemicals which are poured deep into the ground, right where our clean drinking water is. It is also a fact that there are numerous instances where citizens found out their well got contaminated after either testing or actual fracking was done close to their homes (these persons had a test prior of the events which proved their well to be ok). How about that instance where a man found this puddle of mud, which was a fracking drill hole, from where vapors/gazes were escaping, while he was hiking? Another oops?

We can't afford to make mistakes when it comes to things of such important matter. Our province is so beautiful; let's keep it that way, and keep it healthy too! There are other ways to make money and create jobs than to destroy the very thing we are living from.

      I say no fracking way!
