The intersection of Brier Creek Pkwy and Arnold Palmer Drive is dangerous to vehicle and pedestrian traffic and denies residents a safe, walkable route to the adjacent year-round elementary school and community center. There are no traffic lights or crosswalks to aid navigation and the intersection is congested during rush hour traffic, creating a dangerous four way intersection. Since Brier Creek Parkway falls on the NC Department of Transportation State Highway System, we ask the NCDOT to install 4-way traffic lights and cross walks at the corner of Brier Creek Parkway and Arnold Palmer Drive.
