Ted Nugent has recently, in light of the George Zimmerman acquittal, taken to media to go on a racial tirade. In various media outlets, Conservative Ted Nugent has referred to deceased Florida teen Trayvon Martin as a "dope smoking, racist gangster wannabe", "enraged Black man child" and a "Skittles hoodie boy". Nugent's comments further attack the Black community through illicit commentary on President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder. Just recently Ted Nugent attacked Black artists who reportedly took a stance against the Stand Your Ground law and decided to halt touring in Florida until something is done about the law. His commentary is uncivil, shameful, disrespectful, and divisive. In the wake of the Trayvon Martin case many hoped America would have a civil dialogue on race and violence - not commentary that disrespects the dead. Please see the above video to hear Nugent's verbiage for yourself - then take a stance to end racial hate and stop senseless violence by signing the petition and sharing it with others.
