ONLY PEOPLE WHO RESIDE IN BRITISH COLUMBIA SHOULD SIGN THIS PETITION PLEASE!!

To the Honourable the Legislative Assembly of the Province of British Columbia, in Legislature Assembled:

The petition of the undersigned, constituents , of the Province of BC, states that:

In RDCO vs Dave Smith the judge said that, "a judge of a statutory court has jurisdiction to do only that which has been expressly authorized by statute."

Your petitioners respectfully request that the Honourable House change existing statute to allow conditional orders for dangerous dogs to be released for rehabilitation so they can be released back to their owner or to another party. In addition we also want court procedure that is accessible to everyone no matter how much money they have, including people on social assistance and seniors in regards to dogs.

Because our companion guardians deserve the right to life and the right to be rehabilitated, which expert Cesar Millan says ALL dogs are capable of! No more incarceration of our pets.

No dog should be chained OR locked up for 18 months!!!! Let alone one day. This is cruel and punishment I would not wish on any of God's loving creatures.

Dogs do not have a voice and deserve to live and commonsense not rules should apply in each case,

Because dogs should not be put too sleep, nor jailed/kenneled for prolonged periods without JUST cause. Sending a dog home on a conditional discharge, ensuring that the dog will be safely fenced is in the best interest of all involved.

I own 3 dogs and would be devastated if this was to happen to one of my dogs, this animal deserves a fair court hearing
