I live in the Cottondale area. I see animals tied outside with little or no shelter. No food dishes or water. Owners have no contact with them. Why do they want them. County commissioner needs to step up and do something. Cottondale is a disgrace to T-town. What do visitors think when they come in to town from the interstate. This is the USA. People need to start acting like it. Sorry, did not mean to get off the subject of animal neglect.

I am tired of animals being neglected or abused and people getting by with it, Animals deserve better from human beings and I am willing to do whatever it takes to help to stop animal abuse.

Abuse to animals has to stop, I am unable to read about the stories in the news or watch on TV so upsetting to me, when things happen. We have pets and they are like or children. Severe steps need to be taken to those who abuse, to show others they will be punished the same.

I just found out today that there is a tin building in Moundville full of pit bulls. These people fight them. A co-worker called to have them prosecuted and all that the officer enforced was vaccinations. You have got to be kidding me! I can see why it continues to happen; because there is not enough support and help. We do not have enough "animal officers" if you will to help with this and that is what we need. Why have laws if they are not enforced and backed financially?
