This station in particular is an icon in our small Westside community.  It bears a mural of a beloved long time resident who passed away in 2007, Ron Cassidy, and was built by a Local Contractor Doug Pitzer in 1998 at no cost to the County.  This is also a financially prudent decision, seeing a new station will come at tremendous expense to the County.

That is a no brainer that a local contractor will make all the repairs and put the Life Guard stand PERFECT CONDITION at no cost to ANYONE and the Mayor will spend tax payer money to tear it down. If it goes down, I suggest that you run for the United States House of Representatives and help them continue to close down our government. Wasted time and effort !!!
