      These animals are so beautiful and very smart and are of no threat to us. Yet we still hurt them - how cruel we are.

      How sad it would be if we had only sanctuaries for such animals, reserves where their tusks or horns would be humanely removed so that they could live in peace. It seems it is the only answer to the cruelty of human greed.

      The Elephant is one of the noblest creatures. A gentle giant.

      Every one killed by us for ivory is a shame on all of us.

      Why did Noah work to preserve a pair of elephants amongst the myriad pairs he saved?

      Coz they are all God's creatures.

      Please see the Light of God in their eyes. May we learn never to dim that light to the dullness of death or to the wet-shine of fear.
