This poses a health risk to citizens, especially children who often try eating various plants and weeds. Using herbicides also promotes herbicide resistant plants -- the act itself is an exercise in futility. Herbicides also degrade soil quality, killing the humus which captures carbon and makes a nutrient rich bedding for desirable plants to grow.

Herbicides are toxic. They should be banned.
