Everyday parents go to work leaving their children with a person(s) whom they trust to provide a certain degree of care to their children. Many of us parents, if not all do not have the luxury to stay home and raise our children until they are school age. Many of us know the degree of care in which our children are provided differs from us as their parents to that of the daycare provider, however we would never have imagined the children were being left unattended not only once, but numerous times so Shelly Sick could go to McDonald's to get iced teas for herself. Any number of serious situations could have occurred placing all the children at risk of serious physical harm. Help be the voice for the voiceless...take a stand for those who cannot speak and seek justice!

Shelly showed up with her attorney, Lou Colella. She did not go in front of the judge and the case was adjourned out until Dec 5th at 7 pm. As we all wore purple to signify justice and passion, Shelly wore people as well and her attorney had on a purple paisley tie. To me, that is mockery of what we are standing for, a slap in the face, ridiculing our stand! Continue to pass the word, get signatures, LET THE TRUTH BE KNOWN!

    5. Charges

I've realized I have not posted the charges that Shelly obtained. Shelly was charged with 14 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (EWOC), 2 counts of Misrepresentation as a Daycare Provider due to the 2 children that were left unattended upstairs Friday, and 1 Perjury charge for lying about the kids upstairs. Although a single charge of EWOC carries up to a year in jail, and Shelly had been charged with 14, they are all grouped together as one charge. The max she could face at this time is 1 year in jail, 3 years probation, community service as a fine. That is the MAX. The DA starts bargaining with 9 months in jail because the give a 'good time credit' or something along those lines (not exactly sure of the wording). This is appalling!
We need to take a stand for those who cannot! The community should be outraged by this!

A big THANK YOU to all who understand the importance of this petition and seeking appropriate justice. This could have happened to my children, your children, friend's children, your neighbor's children, and your family. Nobody is exempt and we need to be the voice for the voiceless, stand up for what is right even if our voices shake.
IMPORTANT INFO: Shelly's next court appearance is this Wednesday Oct 3rd at 1pm. If you can make it, please wear purple signifying passion and justice for the children! Numbers speak volumes!

These children could have been killed due to her negligence.

I figured now would be the appropriate time to write this on this pathetic waste of time/energy petition. And I know that you will read it because you have ABSOLUTELY NO LIFE other than sitting on your computer or shoving your camera phone in others faces, maybe you should reevaluate the amount of time you spend doing all that nonsense and actually spend time with your own children. That is your whole campaign message, so practice what you preach. You are consumed with the publicity that you have created and in fact you are the mentally ill one, I hope next week you and your “posse” figure out another event to entertain yourselves with. In reality all your fun is over and you can move on to the next person to screw over and bully. That’s what you’re all doing and it is sick that you’re allowed to act the way you do and still have a job in child services and Theresa gets to work in the school district yet act like a wild fat animal every week. You’re both what 50 years old and act like children, I hope one day you both realize everything that you did have. You’re the most ungrateful people I have ever met and I am embarrassed to say we ever allowed you in our home, that we bought your children gifts on a daily basis and that they did receive amazing care. Whether you want to believe that or not, and Brandy do not post all over the internet how you pulled your kids from our home because you were questioning the care the got, you pulled them because my mother was not going to keep watching them until 6:30 at night for you to go to the gym (which you clearly don’t do looking at your physical appearance). As for you Margaret, you owe my family an insane amount of money, and I expect that to be paid. For all of you to know Margaret Mistretta’s family was going through a rough time economically with both parents’ unemployed and instead of kicking them out of daycare like any normal person would do if the family could not afford it, my mother allowed her child to stay, free of charge, for over a year. Instead of bullying them and rubbing it in their face that they were going through a rough time, just as all of you did to my entire family, we helped them out tremendously and have yet to receive a simple thank you. So thank you all for making my whole family basically famous, showing us who are real friends are and showing us what disgusting animals you three are. Oh and Brandy if you ever call my family, who you don’t even know, white trash ever again, you’ll be receiving a face to face visit from me and that’s a promise. You all should act like you’re perfect angels and never made a single mistake in your lives, which is making me laugh hysterically thinking about that because I could call you all out on multiple things right now. Don’t keep looking for any sort of sympathy or apology because you will never get it nor deserve it. Grow up.

It is very important to me because of situations like this is why I dont want to leave my kids to daycare and its not fair to those that are a good baby sitter and that would take good care of my kids.
