      Letter: McLouth case needs attention

To the editor:I recently became aware of the very disturbing case of Summer Snell, a 6-year old at Mclouth Elementary School who was alledgedly attacked by a 16-year-old on school grounds. From what I have read, with the information that was given, it seems to me there was a complete lack of justice in this case.

The people that we pay to educate and protect our children should be responsible for doing that. I am becoming very sick of the victims being punished and moving schools, while the bully and rapists (attempted or otherwise) get free reign.

No child should be afraid to go to school. Law enforcement failed horribly in this case.

Kids Need people who will listen to and defend them. Seems the only ones doing that for this child are her parents. They Need assistance.
