Bill C-45 alters sections of the Indian Act and disregards the Treaties without consultation and consent.

We all know plans to bring more oil tankers to B.C.’s coast are ill-conceived and dangerous, but let me recap it for you anyway:
Enbridge’s pipeline and oil tanker scheme would:
Take the dirtiest oil in the world.
Ram two pipelines through the Rocky Mountains, across 800 rivers and streams and through pristine wilderness, much of which is unceded First Nations’ land.
Load it onto to 225 oil tankers larger than the Exxon Valdez.
Ship it through 140 kilometres of winding rocky fiords (past the very spot the BC Ferry Queen of the North sank) only to emerge into Hecate Strait and the world’s fourth most dangerous ocean environment (according to Environment Canada)
Just so that China, a major human rights violator, can exploit our raw natural resources. Don Gordon, CFRE

I became a Canadian citizen because I love the land, people and values. C-45 devalues all three.

Our country is already becoming so over developed! Animals are losing all their habitats just so ppl can make a quick buck! I want my children's children to live in a pristine beautiful CLEAN country. There will be nothing of this land for our future generations. STOP THE HARPER GREED!
