Let Pierre live in a foster home until his forever home is found

Pierre is a little dog that was found abandoned at Petco. GRASP, a volunteer animal rescue group was called and they picked up Pierre, who was then placed in a foster home with a loving family. Lollypop Farm got involved, and Pierre is now sitting in a cold cage while the investigation continues. Pierre did nothing wrong, yet he is the one that is locked up! A good friend of mine expressed her dismay, but was told by officials at Lollypop, it was the law. She responded "the law is an ass". I realize there are rules and regulations in place for a reason, but sometimes they are made to be broken. Lollypop and Humane Society actually do a lot of good, and they are good to the community, but please, if there was ever a reason to use your heart instead of some stupid regualtion, this is it. If you feel the same please repost and make your feelings known. Visit "Return Pierre to GRASP" FB Page as well; thanks!

Animals need love and care...not a cold cage. If someone is willing, let them love the baby.....PLEASE!

Pierre went from a garbage bag in a garbage can to a wonderful, loving warm home, then abruptly taken away and put in "general population" at Lollypop until they finish their investigation. I am shocked an organization at Lollypop's level would do such an uncaring thing just to "preserve a process" because it "was in place." Not acceptable for Pierre's mental and physical health. Give him back to the warm caring home and woman that was nursing him back to health. If it was your child, you would not want him in a cold steel cage!

It is as important for animals as well as children to have a loving and supportive home to aid in their nurturing and development. keeping an animal in a kennal is not advantageous for the animal, especially after the animal has already experience neglect, and maletreatment from a previous owner. How would You like to be placed in a kennel for no good reason?

The dog had a place to stay with people and care, at Lollypop, he will have a concrete floor and walls, no personal attention or petting. Let him go back to the people who rescued him.

Any member of GRASP would transport Pierre back to Lollypop at a moments notice should they need him for legal proceedings. In fact, any person following this story would probably do the same. Everyone wants to see that the person that did this be prosecuted. So there is no logical excuse for Pierre to have to remain on-site at Lollypop. After so much neglect, let him fnally see what it is like to be safe, fed, warm and loved. Returning Pierre to GRASP is the right thing to do.
